Won't order this again

The product listed is not what we received on our click and pull. We received dole. Terrible disappointment. Recovering from surgery and I had to order online for my husband to pick up. Had I been able to shop myself I would have NEVER bought this. Swimming. So much water in the bag! Best by date of Dec 25, wasn't good the day he brought it home. Very poor quality. So much for our salad at Christmas dinner.

Used to be great garden salad

I have been buying these garden salad for years and most of the time, they last 4 to 5 days. Sam's Club now put them in the newly built freezer/cold section and they seem to go bad very quickly. They will be wilted, brown and smelly after a day or two. Won't buy anymore unless they are moved out of the freezer section.

Remove the salad from the bag.

I've read some bad reviews for this salad, and I don't understand why. I bought a bag 3 weeks ago which we finished yesterday so I bought another today. I took the salad from the bag and put it in a couple of air tight containers, put a damp paper towel on top and put the lid on. The salad is packaged dry to keep it from spoiling. The paper towel is put on to add a bit of moisture/humidity and removed a day or so later.

Great price but goes bad too quickly

This salad mix goes bad REALLY quick. I recommend only buying it if you plan on feeding many people in one sitting where you will be finishing the entire bag at that time. The plus is that it’s perfect to replicate Olive Gardens salad since they do sell their dressing in stores.

Never last

I purchase 2 bags at a time of this salad mix if you don't serve are eat all of the bag at one time you have to throw the rest out , the last 2 bags I purchased about a week ago I got one serving out of each bag before throwing them away , even at $1.88 a bag it's a total waste ! Sam's Club may need to try a different brand because the vacuum pack on this salad is a joke ,totally dissatisfied !

Bad tasting salad

I started buying this salad when Sam's stopped selling the one with romaine lettuce, which we loved! Over time this salad has gotten worse and worse and I have decided to not buy it anymore. When you open the bag, you can smell whatever it is treated with and the smell and taste lingers. These salads suffer from either being too cold or being packed too tightly, and as one reviewer stated much of the lettuce is transparent and soft, even when the "use by" date is many days away. And it is useless to try to keep any unused portion, as it gets even worse quickly. I wish Sam's would bring back the Taylor Farm salad with the romaine lettuce mix.

Goes Bad VERY FAST!

The past few times that I have purchased this mix, they have gone bad WAY before the “best by” date. I purchased one on June 9 and it had a “best by” date of June 18. On June 14, I noticed that, although we had not even opened it yet, it WAS watery and heavy. When I took the bag out of the refrigerator, it was LEAKING! Because the past several had been bad before the printed date, I should’ve known —especially since another lady who was looking at them mentioned that she had not had luck with the bag salad over the past couple months either. I was stupid and decided to give it another try even though, when I purchased (9 days before the date) it really didn’t look all that great. I really wish I could submit a picture. I did take a picture of the dripping bag and of the date. I probably won’t go stand in line for $1.68. I just won’t buy anymore unless it REALLY does look fresh.

2nd Time this has been Soggy Limp

Last month I bought and same thing pretty much happened. I was able to eat one serving last month without issue but ended up throwing that out early. Then I just ordered 2 bag and did grocery pickup so I am not seeing the condition the item is in til I went to use it. I picked up 11/15, the best use by date is 11/26 - ok great! Not so great I did try and eat once bowl of salad (got bad intestinal issue from it), so I literally ended up throwing out two 2lb bags 10 days early on 11/16. Disappointed SAMS is giving bad looking bags of lettuce. The lettuce is limp, browning and soggy. There is major moisture in the bags for some reason. If item is visibly sub par looking, don't give it out. Not sure if sitting in warm trucks or on loading docks longer than should. But these have been sub par for a couple months now.
