Have never been out of Ice in the past 1.5 years. Also the fridge is very electric bill friendly. Love the 3 different storage bins and the shelf spacing is just right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer has plenty of space and there are several sections to store items. Samsung connectivity is great too. I have Samsung TVs and phone. I get notifications when the refrigerator door is left open on my TV, which is quite an underrated feature because it happens a lot more often than I think with my kids.

The glass shelves above the crispers are extremely hard to clean. Currently the documentation I was sent was the older model. I was then asked to pry the metal retaining clip from the glass... Which I refused. Then was told to soak the whole self in warm water and mild detergent. The shelving unit containing the glass is actually larger then any bathtub we have. But I was able to angle it in the tub and fill it enough to cover the glass. Took 2 days for the discoloration to dis-appear. Then used a shower head that was on a cord to try and rinse the soap and contaminates out. But had to let it soak at least overnight. Then had to prop the shelving unit up so that liquid that remained between the glass and shelve could drip out. Also put a fan with a little heat on it. After 2 days of that, liquid could still be observed in ledge between glass and shelve. I then used a air compressor set at ~40 psi and a air nozzle to blow out the remainder. We were then able to re-assemble the refridgerator. I would like Samsung to document the procedure for cleaning this shelf/glass inserts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the extra ice bins. They are s little slow at making ice, but you have choices of sizes. Love the alarm when the door is open, and notifies me via App when I am not home and can call and yell at kids to shut the door. Ha ha. Very quiet unlike my last one. Only sound is ice dropping. The extra large size is great lots of freezer space. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well designed refrigerator. Seems to be put together well, very solid. Everything just works they way you would expect from a Samsung product. Lots of storage room in fridge and freezer. Three sizes of ice cubes also.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were extremely disappointed in the performance of this refrigerator. The top two shelves froze everything, despite the interior temperature set at 37 degrees. The doors would not stay open so it was difficult to get items out. Plus, the large shelf directly above the oversized drawer couldn't support many items. It drooped and bent before we finished putting our food items inside. The four types of ice was the best feature of this refrigerator, which we couldn't get rid of fast enough.

I needed a new refrigerator because my old one was a small side-by-side that wasn't sufficient for the size of my family. I was looking for a refrigerator that was large and had plenty of functions especially in a smart home area. But after looking at all the Samsung options that included a family hub screen, and the concerns with having regular software updates and functionality to integrate with non Samsung services, we decided to go with one that does not have a family hub and just does what a refrigerator should do. There are some SmartThings capabilities that give you alerts for when the doors open and when you need to change the filter. The ice maker and dispenser are sufficient, but don't really hold a lot of ice. I find if I really need to make a lot of ice quite awhile, especially for the one in the fridge. But otherwise, this is just a well designed fridge that keeps your food cold with plenty of space and a regular size non-counter top space. I wish Samsung would make more refrigerators at this height rather than going to taller ones.

I really enjoy being able to use Samsung smart things and monitor temps from my phone. I enjoy the multiple types of ice that the fridge can make without having to hear the loud clunk of ice hitting from the door.
