We bought the 2 pack and installed the first one and it worked great! But we can't locate the adhesive /plastic circle to install the second one in the box. Is there a way to have the circle adhesive /plastic pieces mailed to us? 5 stars either way so far!

I am so happy with this baby gate, I have only ever used ones that were so hard to install and never fit tightly; however this one was super simple to install (without damaging the wall or paint) and it was sturdy enough that my daughter could hang on it, bang it, and attempt to climb it all she wanted and it didn't budge. My favorite feature is the fact that the gate swings open (in either direction too, mind you). I HATE having to climb over a baby gate, it's so annoying so this was a game changer and much safer for my older child to be able to get past, and also when I didn't need to use it I could still have it open without having to install it, where as with my old one I had to take it down everytime it wasn't needed and then reinstall it as soon as we needed it again (which tends to be like an hour later ??). Overall I definitely recommend and feel so lucky I received this product to review, it has made my life a little more simple and it's the extra safety we look for.

The get latch is almost impossible to open on 2 of the three gates we purchased. Safety 1st is giving us the run around with the warrantee. DO NOT PURCHASE! The gates were useful for less than a month. Been fighting with the manufacture for 6 weeks now and of course have had to purchase different gates because the 14 month old needs to be kept off the stairs.

I love this gate, it's great to use from crawling stage to toddlers. It was extremely using to install and looks great in my home (as far as gates go). It also works well for small pets to be blocked off from an area. Installation took less than 5 minutes and the gate can easily be removed from one location to another.

I've got a large household, the oldest kids in the house are 13-year-old twins, my middle child is 8, and my youngest is two. My two-year-old is a trouble maker, in the middle of his terrible two's. The second you turn around to do something, he's into something. Some of his favorite things to do are make a hard dash up the stairs or get into the kitchen into the dog's water dish. This makes it difficult for me to work on anything before my fiance is home from work or the older kids are done with school and can help keep an eye on him. Other gates work but are difficult to use, even for me. This gate however was easy to install, can be left open when the youngest is in bed, and best of all, I'm not fighting to open it. It also looks really nice, not like those ugly bulky plastic ones that I can never figure out how to work.

For the price I thought this would be better. I actually prefer the regalo gate - it also swings in both directions and and is easier to open and close. I bought both and wish I had had bought 2 of the regalo instead. That said. There is nothing wrong with the safety first gate. Just for the price you are not getting anything better.

These gates do the trick! They hold well despite my toddler fiddling with the mechanism as he sees us do it. It's been useful to be able to set the gate to open either way or just one way. My husband did the install and it wasn't too difficult. Definitely recommend this product for your two most frequently-used doorways!

We have three kids ranging from 10 to 2 years old and have had many baby gates throughout the years. This gate is definitely one of our favorites. It's easy to install and extremely sturdy. The material is super easy to wipe down which is great for sticky fingers and aesthetically pleasing. The *only* con is that it is difficult to unlock which is good so the little ones can't open and close but even a pain in the butt for the adults.

I love these gates! We have a 4 level-split home and are need of a lot of gates. We have tried all different brands, but these are awesome. They were a synch to install and the green pressure indicator helps ensure that we have the proper tension and the gate is installed correctly. I Also really like that the gate can swing in either direction and has easy to use drop down gate blockers if I choose only have it swing in one direction.

The latch mechanism broke. Its past the one-year warranty, which I don't feel is good enough (who wants to replace a baby gate every year?) I took the four screws out of the latch and saw a tennie tiny gray plastic thing about the width of a pencil lead that broke off from its spot. Then figured that has what stopped the gate from working. And now I'll have to look for another but not one that is put together with tiny little plastic holders.
