[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV as a Christmas gift for myself. I did a lot of research and I decided that this would be a great value for my money. I have not been disappointed in the quality of the TV. The picture is clear and detailed and is quite amazing, especially for watching movies. I also bought a Samsung soundbar which makes everything sound awesome. The main issue I have with it is the remote control. I hate it. It is difficult to use and way more complicated than I have the patience for. I have also had difficulty connecting / using an antenna and figuring out how to cast from my phone / computer / chromebook. That's probably a "me" issue and not an issue with the tv but an easier interface for less tech savvy people would be welcome. Overall, I would highly recommend the Samsung QLED. It is a huge step up from my plasma TV and the details are great. It is exactly what I wanted for my living room viewing!

Tv was great until it wasn't. After only two years the screen or backlight started flickering. It's constant and we've tried a bunch of troubleshooting. This isn't a cheap tv either so I'm more disappointed that a premium priced tv didn't exhibit premium quality.

Most are of movies that I know and love. This is the first TV that actually replicates the theatre experience. I love it.

I'm a long time dedicated Samsung TV owner and wanted to upgrade to something bigger for our new home that would fill the wall space. This TV has met and by far exceeded my expectations for a TV on every criteria. Bought with a Samsung A6 sound-bar but the built-in is quality as well. The picture quality (240 refresh rate) is staggering for all our fast paced shows and videos and the detail are amazing fro facial features and vivid colours. I am extremely happy with the purchase.

And on top of that samsung provides you with free TV as well. This is my 3rd TV from Samsung. And they never disappoint.

The only issue that I have is the sound can at times be quiet, but in today's world, most people navigate their sound with a TV of this size and quality with a soundbar. Overall, I would purchase this again.

Start up on this unit frustrating, TV remote is also tricky takes a while to sort out how it works + it is all black with no backlifghts so you cant see what your doing in the dark while watching .. please ! Buttons have Dual functions So have to figure out how to toggle channels or increase sound .. very small , good feature it is solar charged .. almost took this TV back - works well technically nice picture but … would think the MFG could rethink some basics .. My LG 55 is older but worked right out of the box great start and experience.. com-on Samsung .. you can do much better with the remote and start up ..

First and foremost, the quality of the picture is great - I can't find any complaints and generally feel like everything is popping more beautifully than our last TV. Furthermore, I would say there is a marked improvement to the general UX versus our last Samsung smart TV. While it's generally easy to setup and use, this one has been significantly more user friendly. I even prefer the menu navigation.
