I have the baby brother WGen9500DF and loved it to provide power to my house but moved into a larger home and it was not quite large enough to handle the load. I decided to get this monster to do the job. I have yet to connect it to my house but love all of the features and some new ones my old generator didnt have. Power outages happen especially in Texas but I won't have a problem keeping the heat or AC on!

I purchased this generator to replace my Dayna generator 4400 watt 9000 surge. This is a much needed upgrade I have been putting off for a while. I've only ran it for a hour to break it in. I had a 6 horsepower compressor running and it didn't phase the generator but I hooked it up to my old generator and it pulled it down. It will be a big difference the next power outage we have.

First, I was unaware that this generator was made in China until I received it. It was designed in the USA. Second, out of the box it had several relatively minor paint imperfections on the frame where it was worn off from rubbing against something. Finally, there is an oil leak that appears to be coming from the oil fill plug. I can live with the other issues, but I need to have something done about the oil leak. Other than those things, the setup was easy. It started immediately and ran like a champ. It's not as noisy as I expected, but we'll see what the neighbors have to say about that after the first all-night run - it won't bother me.

I bought this generator to give us back up power when we have outages. we have a two family dwelling and this generator has two 50 Amp plugs that will accommodate both families. So far we haven't had an outage but I'm feel positive this will do the job!!

Purchased after Texas power outage (FEB. 2010). Wired it into my service panel and it carries most everything. Runs TV, computers, fridge, freezer, wifi, washer, dish washer and all the LED lights I need. A wonderful generator. Would have given anything to have had it before the blizzard. Could even power clothes dryer IF you turn off the 5 Ton A/C while doing it. TREMINDOUS!!!! My model is the Wgen9500... Seems I couldn't see my exact unit.

I bought this beast to run my commercial floor grinding and epoxy business. The first 4 months it ran well. After that it would start up and whenever I put a load on the generator it would cut off. It's a pain to keep restarting the generator every 10 to 15 minutes because it keeps cutting off. Thank you Westinghouse for making my life harder than it really is. I can run 2 generac generators nonstop with no issues.

I bought this for emergency power so I haven't used it yet. However, this came with everything you need to assemble it and get it ready for use. The instructions say you must remove it from the pallet to put on the wheels but that isn't true, I had no trouble putting them on still on the pallet.

Carbon monoxide sensor renders the unit almost unusable. Any running engine will emit carbon monoxide. As soon as the sensor recognizes any amount within inches of the unit, your out of business. Mandatory disablement. Totally absurd that the fuel system cannot be drained. I would really like to know why Westinghouse would intentionally ignore such an important factor. The unit was designed to accept a convenient trickle charge, but for some reason, there is no explanation of how to use it. The overall unit has a lot of fantastic engineering design, but lacks on a few of the obvious.

Less than 1 run hour and having issues smoking from one cylinder.
