We bought this a couple of months ago to be ready for the winter. Last year a lot of people lost power, and this year we will be ready. It has great features and it's portable which we really wanted. We haven't had to use the generator yet, but we are excited about our purchase. We have already recommended one to all of our friends.

I purchased this generator last week, so far i'm very impressed with easy it is to carry, how quiet it is when its running and most importantly the price of the generator. If you compare it to a to its competitors its almost half the price! I purchased it mainly for camping but it will run my sump pump no problem in the vent of a power outage. If you are looking at running a furnace, large appliance or an A/C unit you will need to purchase two of these inverter generators and stack them or a larger Westinghouse generator.

I purchased the Gen9500 in early October. In my area we have infrequent power outages BUT, they usually last for 2-5 hours. Since my purchase I have used this unit twice - and I LOVE IT! Nice, easy starting and the unit is not as loud as I had expected. This unit kept me with lights and water (I am on a well system). I was also able to cook and watch TV. Now I wonder why I did not make this purchase before now. This is a really nice unit and it came at a great price.

Just took delivery of this behemoth and have not had the opportunity to fire it up but it is a beast! I am sure it will keep our home powered through future hurricanes. We just went through 5 days without power due to hurricane Beryl with a smaller generator that just provided basics. We are looking forward to having AC during the next outage!

This Generator is extremely easy to use. The remote start makes it convenient for my loved to stay inside and start the generator in the confinements of their living quarters. It is more then enough power to run your in home essential items and to get off the grid when out camping.

As many have said, you have to be thoughtful in how you uncrated because of its weight. I used a set of ramps and a floor jack and was able to get it off the pallet without issue. Easy to follow instructions, and it fired right up. so far, I have only tested it with small electrical appliances, as I have an electrician coming later this week to set me up to run the house. Be sure to check the GFI trip in the outlets, mine were tripped from the factory. The build quality and aesthetics are great! It is as loud as you would expect a V-twin engine to be.

The generator arrived quickly and in good condition. No visible damage out of the box. Assembly was easy, as the instructions were simple and all parts were included. This review is actually for the WGen9500. This Model # was not included in the list of generators offered in the drop down menu via the online registration form. Since it was required to choose a model in order to proceed with the registration process, I chose the WGen12000. I haven't actually fired it up yet, but do not anticipate any problems in doing so.

I received the WGen12000GFc generator couple days ago. This generator was recommended by friends, and I did not know what to expect. Instantly I was impressed with the packaging, and very pleased by what seen once unpackage, very well built and user friendly. If you searching for backup power do not look past the WGen12000FDc.

The registration WEB page asked me to give a review. I went to Bolton, Ontario to pickup my generator. I returned to Quebec without any problem. The WGen20000 is very heavy, with 580 pounds. The packaging is well done to protect it from scratches and debris on the road. It seems to be of good construction and placed on a very resistant steel frame with a good coat of resistant paint. In a month or two, I will be ready to make a review, when i will start the generator. I bought a Generac 200 Amp, Automatic Transfer Switch to use all the power from this 28000 Watt in peak power. I just ordered a Remote Monitor ATS Amf Generator Controller to monitor electric outage from Hydro-Quebec. It was more easy to install for whole house and more practical when I'm away. With this new controller, i will install all the sensors i need, to monitor this air cooled gas engine. I will see the engine temperature on each cylinder, the oil pressure, oil temperature, Engine revolution (RPM), Battery voltage, Alternator amperage, Hour meter for each electric outage, Oil change monitoring and some other engine failures ​

I needed something big for powering ac/heat just in case ! This unit arrived unmolested by transport. I am impressed by the completely clear and concise manual along with all the features on the generator. Followed the step by step instructions and the unit fired right up. Ran it for 20 min. to break in which I will repeat 3 or 4 times before serious use !
