My generator was just delivered and it is sweet. It has a remote start, which is fantastic for my wife, who would not be able to pull start a generator. I can now feel comfortable that when I have to be at work during a hurricane, that I know the power situation is a non-factor.

Overall satisfied with this machine. It's a beast, but able to power my whole house with an outdoor 50A receptacle and interlock switch put on my panel PRO's: Powerful, appears to be well built, looks good, has 50A outlet and PLENTY of other plugs, has clean low THD power, good value, I like the low idle mode for warming up and cooling down the machine CON's: - Very heavy. Ok to roll on flat surface, but challenging to roll on even a slight incline. Don't expect to move this into a truck bed or up any kind of hill without some major help. - Loud. You probably expect this, but it's about as loud as a riding mower at full throttle without mowing deck engaged - Large Size. Before you buy, check the dimensions and make sure you have a plan on for where to store it. Will be a challenge to store in a garage if you also plan to park a car in there too. - Oil dipstick is hard to remove and replace - Connecting battery is a little tricky due to weird angles of wires - Location of 50A plug means that you have to tuck the cord behind the generator wheel. Not a big deal, but could have been thought out better

I love this generator. It is powerful enough to power my entire home just like a standalone home generator, but it's portable. So I can use it for my RV at my home or on the road. Also, come in handy around the farm when you need electricity to operate power tools for any project.

I needed this generator for my construction site. It was so easy to unpack, install the wheels and get ready to use. It started Immediately and was relatively quiet. It is obvious that every component on this generator is exceptional quality. I looked at several similar generators, but could not be more pleased with my decision to go with a Westinghouse Unit.

We bought this generator about a month ago. It so easy to use. It started the first time we tried. It has a pull start, an electric start and remote control start. It is much quieter than our other generator. We are very pleased. Came with everything that it supposed to have.

I bought the generator about a month ago, it was well packaged without any damage. Added the fuel and oil and started right up without any issues. I like the large fuel tank, but the fill cap should be closer to the edge of the fuel tank. It is difficult to fill without spilling the fuel due to the center location.

I just received this. Attached the battery, assembled the wheels and lift bar. Added the supplied oil and put some gas in the tank, with only the most brief hesitation the generator started right up. After reading many reviews that commented on the awkward placement of the oil drain I was pleased to see that Westinghouse seem to read the reviews on their products and have added a drain hose (I'll try to attach a photo). Though the machine is heavy the large wheels and hefty lift handles make it like moving a medium filled wheelbarrow, I had no problems pushing it up the ramp to my shed or across my soft lawn including a slight grade (note that I'm an out of shape senior). Overall my initial impressions are very positive.

I bought this generator to connect to a transfer switch and power our home in time of power outage. Wheel assembly was clear and easy, however instructions regarding battery connections were not correct. Method of connecting on the generator is better than in the instructions, however misleading as it looks as if it the battery is connected. Charged the battery overnight, still didn't work. Finally followed leads from the battery behind one of the covers plates and found the two plugs not connected, but zip tied together out of sight. Once connected, everything worked as it should. Push button start and key fob worked well. This unit is also easy to start manually. Update your set up instructions to match your current construction and this would have been a 5 star.

Great portable generator for Michigan power-outages. Husband bought this for my $6000 saltwater fish tank so we wouldn't lose our pets and coral. I feel confident in using this without any help, even my 8 year old daughter can do it! Runs the tank and much more to keep us warm and lighted. Would recommend to others and would buy again - Thanks!

Ordered this beast for backup power at my home. I just received it so I haven't used it other then testing it for about 1hr but i was impressed with the solid packaging, and how easy it was to get it going. Attached the wheels and lift bar, then added oil/fuel and she started right up. Now I don't have to worry the next time the power goes out!
