Unboxed it, filled it with the supplied oil, hooked the battery and put some gas in it and paired the remote. Fired up on the 2nd try. Turned it on and off from the remote about 50 ft away with no problems. I don't have a load on it yet but will give it a shot after wiring the house with it. I will post those results on you tube once I do it.

This is the biggest portable generator I could find. I have tested it and works great and came with everything besides gas. The biggest issues is getting my house wired to accept this much power and unloading it from the shipping pallets because it is very heavy.

I have been searching for a portable generator with enough power to supply everything in my rural home during our frequent power outages. This brand and model listed all the specifications in an easy to read format and the reviews were positive. I never thought I would say I can't wait for the power to go out but this unit will make it a 'non-event'.

I purchased this to provide power backup for my home. I have wanted one but could not justify it on the chance of severe storms or tornados. The current pandemic with it's possible impact on city power supplies finally got me to buy one for self sufficiency.

I live in Southeast Texas so dealing with hurricanes is something that folks around here just learn to do. I've had a 5500 watt generator for years, that worked just fine in a pinch to run fridges and freezers, a few lights and a window unit, but with that came extension cords ran throughout the house and only one room that was comfortable. After the derecho winds that hit us this year and then Hurricane Beryl, each causing power outages that lasted a week, I was fed up with dragging extension cords and having to choose what was going to be powered and what wasn't. I really wanted the 20 kw tri-fuel but since they are still not available, I opted for the 14.5 kw Westinghouse. Ordered it in September and got the good news last week that it was being shipped, got it this morning, 11/1/24, put the tires on, added oil, hooked up the natural gas hose and let her rip. Ran it in for about an hour with no load. I had previously wired in two breakers (50 and 30 amp) to feed the breaker panel. Shut off the incoming power from the lines and connected the cords. Had also previously installed a soft starter on my 5 ton HVAC unit. That piece alone dropped my LRA on the compressor from 107 amps to about 29 amps during startup. Normal running amps is around 7. Anyway, I was able to power the entire house including AC and pool pump. The only item I didn't try was the electric dryer. Worse case, I'll just make sure the pool pump is off before running the dryer. All-in-all, very pleased with my purchase. With my luck, I'll never lose power again but am ready if I do. Had a difficult time obtaining product. Took three attempts with three different suppliers. Delivery was difficult to track however delivery was professional & no damage. Product met all expectations. Manual was confusing at times and lacking info (especially with oil fill location).

Purchased because of multiple storms leading to power outages recently. Works great to provide power to needed household appliances in those cases. Also great for using around the farm in places where there is no power. No issues so far, happy with my purchase.

Purchased this a week ago and while I haven't had to use it in an emergency situation yet, I am confident it will do the job. I did a trial run and it powered all lights and appliances no problem. I did my research and this unit met all my needs while in my price point.

Nice unit, starts right up and just purrs until you need some juice, then it ramps up to meet demand. Plan to use with our Class C for economical power all day instead of starting/stopping the built in 4000w genset just to watch tv or charge a phone.
