Purchased the Wgen12000 as home backup power in case of an outage.Unit was very easy to assemble and started on first try. Operated as expected and and provided ample power. Looking forward to many years of service.

Bought this as a replacement for an 8500 portable for use as a hurricane backup. Will power my whole house including well and pool pumps less central AC. Has been dependable and stable power.

This generator is perfect for my needs. Will provide adequate power for my entire house including a 3 ton central ac unit. Living in Florida means needing a reliable backup generator and the WGen12000 checks all of the boxes.

Just bought this unit as a power backup to the ranch. Needed to operate the well pump, two barns and main house. Can also use it to weld away from main 240V source and for power for the RV.

just got it today, it was well packed with no damage. put the wheels on added the oil and fuel started right up! haven't put a load on it yet i let it run for about 15 min with no issues, looks to be well built battery was charged up.

I haven't used it to to power the house yet. I will update running my 2.5-ton and 3.5-ton ac in the coming days. This unit is large. It is not hard to move around with the long handles and wheels over flat ground.

Excellent quality. Second purchase of this model. Only thing is the dipstick has very limited access room and is difficult to insert fully, which can result in an over-fill condition. Otherwise, design and execution are excellent.

I was very pleased with PED ease of ordering. This generator is a beast. It has a lot of power and can run most of your house if not all of it, depending on your house of course. Easy start and easy to move around considering the weight.

It was very easy to assemble and started right with gas. I did buy a conversion kit for natural gas it started right up again. With 1/2 line but it does need a 3/4 inch line from the house.

I bought this after hurricane Helene to replace a 20+ year old Coleman 6250. I wanted one big enough to run my whole house, well and central air conditioner so I wouldn't have to switch stuff on and off which is fine for a dot or two but when you're without power for weeks that gets old quickly. Hope this one last like my Coleman has and it's nice that this Westinghouse has a 3 year warranty.
