It was a stormy Sunday afternoon when we thought, hey, let's put the playset together. And so it began. I was the navigator directing the crew regarding every piece and every bolt. I thought that if I read the directions carefully enough, we could avoid having to go back to go forward, but to no avail. There is one part where the directions are just not clear enough and you have to go several steps forward before you "catch" the mistake. We had to re-arrange the platform twice and that was enough for one afternoon. My husband and I took another full day to complete the project (our other help abandoned us after the double rebuild) and by the time we were finished, there was palpable frustration in the air. Even so, when our darling angels (well, at least when they're asleep) first saw the completed set and played for hours and hours and hours, we decided it was almost all worth it. I'd love to give it five stars and would have if that one spot in the directions had been just a little more clear.

I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering a metal play set but it was relatively straightforward to assemble. There were two steps where I needed a second person. One was getting the roof on top. The other involved two screws in the very center of the tower over and under the floor. My arms just aren't that long and I didn't feel like going inside for tape. The play set is rock solid. There were slight issues with leveling that were easily solved by sliding the slightly higher foot back and forth. Sometimes you had to dig a tiny bit under it so the dirt loosened by sliding had somewhere to go. I will say the plastic flooring for the tower was a bit confusing. No matter what I did, it would not sit the way it was supposed to. However, it was near a good stopping point for the day so I just left it until the next day and the problem solved itself. Sitting flat in the sun allowed the two plastic floors to interlock the way they were supposed to easily. I guess they were slightly warped from travel and needed to flatten out. The top of the slide had a bit of a similar problem with being curved while I was trying to screw it in. A day in the sun fixed that too. Also, the kids LOVE this thing. We put a sand box under the tower. They are always out climbing all over this thing. So are their friends. P.S. Don't put the steering wheel on until last. Getting the swing set bar on around that thing is a PITA.

Great/sturdy play set, fairly easy to put together—really loved the fact that all nuts/bolts were either the same size Allen wrench or socket. That made things very simple and much faster than they could've been. As other reviews have stated, there are a few areas in the directions that could be more clear/precise as to exactly where a piece goes. I had to move a couple things around when I got to later steps and needed to attach pieces—went back to check and make sure I hadn't missed directions only to find that there were no clear directions on where it should've gone. Other than that, my wife and I put it together by ourselves (with help from our kids) and we did not come close to killing each other or become alcoholics so I'm calling that a win. Took around 20ish hours, I was by myself for probably half of that.

I am impressed with the quality of this playset. The materials are durable, and well organized in the way they are packaged. It did take some time to assemble, but with planning and reading the instructions thoroughly prior to start, I enjoyed not only the process but the end product.

This play set is the best. It is sturdy, rugged and looks great. Had a hiccup with delivery - the truck was too big to get down the culdesac and my son had to meet the driver in a mall parking lot to transfer the heavy crate to a pick up bed. Somehow the two of the got it loaded and we off loaded it ourselves into the designated play area. They could have used a smaller delivery van that would make it onto the street - the semi was too big to turn in. Construction was very time consuming but worth it. The kids love it and it is a nice addition to the home.

Great product, installation was a breeze, did it in less than 12 hours over 2 days with my 9 year old son. Super high quality product, packaging of parts was super intuitive and organized and instructions were easy to follow. Kids love the play set (even love the extra details like the town stamped on the tower so kids can play with matchbox cars, great detail). Truly believe this play set will out last my 4 kids. Love how this set entertains my 3 year old up to my 9 year old, something for all 4 of my kids. Only negative so far is when 2 kids are swinging next to each other the metal joint on top of the swings rubs and makes a very loud and annoying squeaking/screeching sound. Really no way to lube it now, only seems to go away when someone is on the third swing next to monkey bars. Hoping it gets better over time, but a small price to pay for an otherwise amazing play set.

I specifically bought this playset for the step-kids (ages 10 & 12) and my grandkids (ages 1 & 3). I'm expecting more grands. I wanted something that would work for all ages and last many years. I was surprised when the 3 year old climbed the rock wall and was able to easily navigate the steps and the older kids enjoyed it as much as the 3 y.o.... It isn't completely set up yet, have the tower done, but the kids, all ages, had a blast. I even got myself up there and went down the slide. There's a lot of cool features not advertised, such as the road for cars on the floor of the tower and the driving wheel. I can't wait to get the rest set up this week. We had a couple damaged parts and Lifetime immediately sent replacement parts. They said it would be about a week or two, and it was literally two to three days delivered. I highly recommend this company for their customer service and this playset will last for many, many years.

We purchased a wood playset a few years ago that was destroyed by the wind, so wanted something sturdier. Although we haven't had any severe wind yet, this playset seems to be very sturdy, and even if it were to get knocked over, I am doubtful it would break. It appears very durable! Besides that, the kids love it! Definitely good features for older children. We paid to have it installed as well, which was well worth the additional money. One gentleman did a wonderful job - it was up and ready in no more than 6 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love this swingset. heavy duty plan on it lasting for many years to come. Took two of us to put most of it together and about 8 hours altogether. Slide is a bit fast for my 4 year old at first. I have a 10 year old and 4 year old and both of them enjoy playing on it.

We absolutely love this Swingset. Its sturdy, beautiful and my daughter loves it. Putting it together was very difficult. There are so many screws and pieces and it took 4 full days!!! However we are very happy with the results. My only advice is you need a whole team to assemble it!
