We have taken advantage of this item several times now. It is first rate and so tasty. It has enough for a large dinner with everyone filled to their hearts content. If you think about it, getting a nice slice of prime rib at any restaurant you will be luck if you can get it for $20. This way you have a dozen or so nice thick servings. The best part is that it is already cooked and all you have to do is heat it up. But be careful, don't over do it.

These were once good, but not this time! I heated according to the instructions until the internal temperature was 110 degrees expecting to have a rare prime rib roast. This roast was obviously overcooked before it sealed for sale. When I sliced it the internal portion was gray and overdone. I checked the temp with two different meat thermometers before and after slicing and they both read to be in the 110-115 degree range! I have bought these in the past and they were always excellent, but not this time! I won't take a chance on another one at $13.98 a pound....

Great addition to our Christmas dinner. Easy to heat up and great tasting. Bit pricey and hard to get. We ordered online at our Montgomery Sams. The site said in-stock, but when went to pick it up we were told they were out-of-stock. So why did the website let me order it? So we contacted the Sam's in McDonough GA and were able to get it for Christmas dinner.

Best prime rib roast I've ever eaten in my life! And I have had gourmet chefs cook for me so this is saying a lot for a pre-cooked prime! Seasoning flavors are delicious! Meat is the most tender I've ever eaten other than a gourmet prepared filet mignon. I was amazed. All of our guests loved this prime rib roast.

It was OK. Over cooked as far as I was concerned. I didn't even warm it up the way it said too or the whole thing would have kept cooking more and more. I just cut servings and warmed that way. It tastes OK but for the price $89 I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought one of these, cut it into steaks, and froze them. I had one of the steaks because I needed to determine if I wanted to buy another before the season ends. It wasn't bad, but it tasted as if it was marinated with something. Maybe its the seasoning....don't know. For me, its not worth the price. But like I said it wasn't bad, it just didn't taste like prime rib. If it were half the price, I would buy it and ground it up because it would be great for hamburgers.

delish, we sliced the cold prime rib into thin slices and cut out the fat, then dipped into boiling beef broth, or a packet of lipton au jus to warm it up, then place on toasted rolls with horseradish sour cream dressing , fresh cut fries and a beer.

Tasted like corned beef, no Au jus, don't waste your money! How in the WORLD they managed to make a Prime Rib taste like old corned beef is beyond me, but there REALLY needs to be a review of their seasonings for PRIME RIB. By someone with GOOD taste buds, who knows and understands WHAT a good juicy Prime Rib should taste like to begin with, would be a good start. Paid WAAAAAAY too much for this and ruined Sunday dinner.

This was really good. Heating takes longer than the directions. i use a meat thermometer to get the middle to medium rare. Quality was very good with nice marbeling. I made a great au jus and horseradish dipppinh sauce. It's easy to season. I cut a few steaks and will blacken them. I see Walmart has a similar product incase Sam's is not in stock

I bought one of these last year, not paying attention to the label and didn't know it was pre-cooked. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste. Quite frankly, it had more flavor than my from-scratch prime rib roasts - without all the work. I'd recommend this for people that want a great tasting roast and don't have the several hours to roast one from scratch.
