I bought this dog house about a month now and I wish I could return it and listened to the bad reviews. The holes where the screws go are not the right match. You have to make your own so it won’t fall apart!

Great dog house with usable features. Can’t build an insulated dog house for the price. I’ve had two of these for several years now and have not had any issues, rock solid.

Roomy, sturdy, aesthetically beautiful dog house. Easy assembly. One con is that door is a bit heavy—I had to take it off as my little dog wouldn’t push through it.

Good snug fit together, though screws barely bite, anticipate eventual replacement with longer, heavier screws, especially where walls fasten to floor.

Good size for a large dog, sturdy, assembly was easy. I like the design and how it accommodates the heater - looks like it will be safe. We added a cushion/dogbed that isn't in close contact with the heater. We removed the door because it folds and binds a little when our dog entered, could be a potential for injury. We replaced it with a piece of rubber floor mat. Otherwise we are happy with it so far. We put it in a building the dog can access through a doggy-door so it's out of the wind/weather but in SD the winters temps can get below zero so having a heat source is imperative for our short-haired dog.

We have been looking for a sturdy, insulated dog house and this is the best we've found. It is perfect for our golden retriever. Had to remove both portions of the swinging door before he would go inside and we'll leave them off. It definitely took two people to put it together.

Using this insulated house and heater in backyard garage for many rescued feral cats. All cats were live trapped, spay & neutered. Nice warm heat draws them in on cold days. I removed lower swinging door and used towel to cover bottom opening. Not too difficult to put together but need a rubber mallet and strength.—-

We LOVE this dog house. It’s light, the floor is off the ground, all walls are insulated, the door keeps the heat in. This is the only doghouse we trust to keep our fur baby warm in Utah weathers. this is our second house like this and we will continue to use this as our go to house.

This dog house is definitely worth every dime!! It was shipped quickly and took maybe 8 minutes to put together. We already had a doghouse heater and it fit perfectly. We added a good layer of hay on top and took 1/2 the door off as suggested. Our 11 year old dog was inside snuggly warm within a few minutes (I did throw a treat inside to lure her in). I have actually gotten inside the house to see if it was really as warm as they advertise and it is! Also I was worried about the size, but our dog (lab mix of around 60-70 lbs) fits comfortably with room to spare. I will probably buy the fan that fits it for summertime.

This is my 2nd ASL Solutions Insulated Dog Palace. I love that they're truly insulated. The first one I bought about 5 years ago. It was smaller and I used it for my outdoor cats. I also put in a heater (plastic pig type) for winter and the cats loved it. Now I have a large breed pup and wanted it to have warmth in the winter on days it is outside. I love that this "Dog Palace" is insulated and the door is removable for warm weather. Plus of course, I will be buying another heater before winter so I also like that there is a hole for the cord to run through it in the back. Can't go wrong with this!
