Doesnt use a lot of energy to run. Great little unit that gets the job done! Sleek look and has remote which is an added plus! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came at a great time. My parents and I live in a 2-story house and upstairs gets really hot during the summer. Our windows open left to right, so putting a traditional AC unit is not possible. This portable one has been so useful. For the AC unit and dehumidifier functions, there’s a large tube in the back and a tray-like material. Basically, it’ll connect to the window, so the excess water that the machine collects can get drained out without having to it manually. The heater function is pretty straightforward to use, just turn on and no issues. The remote control is great too, especially if you’re sleeping and the machine the far away from you. I’m not sure what max distance you have to be at for the machine to pick up the buttons pressed on the remote. Overall, this has been great to have, especially with the fluctuating weather in NY recently.
