I've got this brand in a stock pot and have no issues with it, but this is terrible. After first use, the inside looks like it was left outdoors in the rain. I've done all the necessary steps that you do to revive your cast iron and it still looks terrible. Very disappointed in this piece. Will not buy this brand from Sam's again

The Tramontina 12.5" Covered Cast Iron Skillet wit a lid is a good companion in the kitchen. It is much lighter (in weight) than comprable cast iron (CI) pans of its size and it has a lid. The high sides allow me to cook those larger dishes much more easily than my other CI pans. The added grip makes it easy to pick the CI pan up when moving it to another burner and to the oven. Did I mention it has a lid? Over all I am pleased with my purchase. The quality is there and it has a good warranty, which adds to peace of mind.

Not seasoned as described. It Rusted upon first use. Not worth the money.

This my new Go To skillet. Evenly heats and cooks just like an old cast iron skillet does, only this has a lid that is great for certain dishes.

Great product!! I purchased because it came with a top. However, the pan was a little bigger than i needed. But i still like it.

Rough surface and the description states it’s seasoned. I was very surprised just how rough the surface is. I did a season round and have used it a couple times. Still learning

Purchased thinking it was truly pre-season. I seasoned the skillet think oh the lid should be ok. I was wrong & oh did I pay for that. Had to scrub like crazy & season 4 times for desired coverage

Like that this generous size skillet came with a lid. This was a nice addition to my forever iron cook ware. Love that I can put in oven as well or on my outside gas burner.

The skillet was a gift and was a wonderful choice, my grandson was thrilled. And the service was amazing. Delivered on Sunday! Wow, I was so impressed.

I love my new Tramontina 12.5" Covered Skillet. Straight from stove top to oven and love having the lid. I fixed baked steak in it and it came out tender and delicious, all in one pan.
