I love using cast iron, I’m growing my collection and this one was a must have. I used it the same day I got it to test it out and it was perfect. It’s so nice to be able to start my meet on the stove top to get a nice color on it and then cover it with the lid and finish it in the oven. It’s such a good size too, I highly recommend it.

The Tramontina 12.5" Covered Cast Iron Skillet wit a lid is a good companion in the kitchen. It is much lighter (in weight) than comprable cast iron (CI) pans of its size and it has a lid. The high sides allow me to cook those larger dishes much more easily than my other CI pans. The added grip makes it easy to pick the CI pan up when moving it to another burner and to the oven. Did I mention it has a lid? Over all I am pleased with my purchase. The quality is there and it has a good warranty, which adds to peace of mind.

Not seasoned as described. It Rusted upon first use. Not worth the money.

Great product!! I purchased because it came with a top. However, the pan was a little bigger than i needed. But i still like it.

This my new Go To skillet. Evenly heats and cooks just like an old cast iron skillet does, only this has a lid that is great for certain dishes.

Rough surface and the description states it’s seasoned. I was very surprised just how rough the surface is. I did a season round and have used it a couple times. Still learning

Purchased thinking it was truly pre-season. I seasoned the skillet think oh the lid should be ok. I was wrong & oh did I pay for that. Had to scrub like crazy & season 4 times for desired coverage

The skillet was a gift and was a wonderful choice, my grandson was thrilled. And the service was amazing. Delivered on Sunday! Wow, I was so impressed.

Like that this generous size skillet came with a lid. This was a nice addition to my forever iron cook ware. Love that I can put in oven as well or on my outside gas burner.

Very heavy pan, love that it has a lid. Used low flame and added a bit of oil to cook pork chops, they stuck to the pan. Not happy with that but will try it again. If it sticks again pan will go into drawer and not use again.
