This is so disappointing to write about Sam's Club. I've always had such respect for the meat they sell, but not now. This Brisket was over 65.00 and it was 3/4 FAT! This poor animal was obviously housed in a confined environment and fed to simply fatten it up without being able to move around a lot. I have always felt Sam's Club's Choice meats were a sign they chose distribution that showed the animals respect. But as I'm buying their meats; Beef, Pork, Chicken, that's not the case.

I bought this cut of meat before meat prices skyrocketed. It was a great value then and still is now really at a little under $5 a pound. Just be aware though, there is a lot of fat in this brisket and though we purchased I think a 20-pound brisket, we ended up getting 15 pounds of meat since there was just so much fat to cut off. I'd definitely purchase it again because to me, it is still really worth it compared to a typical grocery store.

It was terrible even after cooking it slow on low! We had some we had to toss out because of fat throughout the meat.

I use the briskets on my food trailer and always have great success. For the money you can't go wrong I highly recommend

Greta brisket but at $8 per pound it will be the last one I buy there. Winn Dixie had the same grade on sale for $4 per pound.

The quality was below what I expected. I ordered the brisket and received it in the parking lot. It was very fatty and miss shaped!

I carried this out the door in a plastic bag furnished at the meat counter. Of course i got stopped at the and had to get the darn thing scanned.

Was 1/3 connective tissue. I am used to some but I had to butcher the whole brisket instead of cut just a wedge of connective tissue out.

I received brisket pack, there was no more than 10% of meat in whole brisket. Very bad purchase I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it.
