One of the best pork chorizos available in non-specialty markets. My only concern is that each link is about 12 oz and my recipes typically call for 16 oz. Not a big deal since the entire package is 3lbs, so you just need to divvy up one of the links.

Big Meat

Taste great but it sure is extremely greasy!

I’m genuinely not being hyperbolic when I say this was like a meat paste, and it had so much fat and because of the paste consistency it was very hard to drain or remove the fat. It was probably my fault for buying it because it was so cheap. Sam’s Club, to me, is known for very high quality stuff and I just never thought something this low quality would be allowed to be there, Parent co. Walmart yes but not here. This is a Food City or cheap Walmart product.

I haven’t purchased El Mexicano pork chorizo in about three years because it wasn’t good compared to our local meat market. My wife and I decided to give it another try. We forgot how bad it was. It smells bad, it’s rubbery, and very chewy. That’s a bad sign.

Absolute FAILURE of Chorizo. Once you open tube, it pours into pan like gravy. I added 1 lb of ground round and it still separated as mostly liquid. I drained grease with strainer and very little chorizo remained

The chorizo was very mushy. I also prefer beef.

Awful! Too greasy and salty. Wound up throwing away.

The marinade is good, but it has a lot of fat balls that take a long time to cook and hardly has meat, and in the end it tasted like raw pork.

It's so disgusting. When you put it in the pan, it turns into something watery and greasy. I'll never buy it again. I wish Sam's had Reynaldos chorizo, it's much better than this greasy paste.
