First time we ever tried a Sams Chicken Pot Pie. We usually get something frozen from our local grocery store. This pie is full of chicken, is very creamy, and has what I would say the perfect amount of peas and carrots. The crust is a standard pot pie crust both on the top and on the bottom. It comes in an aluminum pan to easily toss in the oven and cook. When cooked the crust is flakey and tastey. It is quite large and will easily feed 6 people. My only complaint is that it only has cooking instructions for a convection oven. We followed the convection instructions for our conventional oven and in 1 hour and 15 minutes at 375 it was perfect. I suggest putting on foil as it does bubble up over the sides of the pan. It dripped all over the bottom of the oven. I cannot recommend enough.

This potpie is old school value, and delicious!!! For $21 and a bagged salad, this pie easily feeds 8 people. It bakes in about 90 minutes, so it is perfect for a Sunday supper with plenty leftover. I do recommend placing it on a foil lined baking sheet or pizza tin. The pie is so full of yummy filling that it will spill over a little while baking. Let it rest for 15 or 20 minutes to allow the filling to thicken. Well done Sam's Club!

This is one big pie! We had a filling dinner one night and had plenty left for another dinner two nights later. I didn’t give it five stars because I thought the crust could have been lighter and flaky. I did appreciate that it wasn’t overly salty. We will buy it again.

Flavor was generally good until we kept hitting big chunks, as in 2 or 3 oz. chunks of chicken with fat and gristle. If we took them out there was hardly any meat. Whoever "assembled" them in the store needs some training. I wish we hadn't bought this for a family meal! Had them before from a different store and it was fine.

This is my favorite pre-prepared item that Sam's sells. If they have any left on my visits I pretty much always buy one. The crust is flaky, the chicken and veg is fresh, and it's absolutely delicious. After some dashes of hot sauce on top I am in heaven. Takes about an hour to cook or so in a 375 oven. Just wait until the crust develops a deep golden brown and you are good to go.

This is an item that we buy every so often. It’s a little rich for the family member who is diabetic, but the rest of us enjoy it. I would have preferred that my recent pick up order person had put this item at the top of a box full of meat instead of the bottom though. I usually adjust the pastry on the top so it is woven, but the pastry was squashed into the filling and filling all over the inside of the lid. Still tasted good though.

You will enjoy this fresh chicken pot pie better than others you can buy. The meat and vegetables are delicious and the crust is equally as good! A quick, stick to your ribs meal for you or to share with your family and friends. Get to Sam's early each day, they sell out fast! This pot pie heats up well and tastes great the next day too.

4.5 stars. Quite good, better than Marie Callenders. Hubby loved it, as did picky son -- even the leftovers. Brushed dough with egg white %26 sprinkled with flaky salt for a pretty crust. Baked as directed (1 hour was plenty to get to internal temp well over 165 %26 brown the crust). I felt it could have used more seasoning, we added, S%26P, garlic, and a little poultry seasoning after serving.

This is a GRRREAT pot pie. It’s easy to fix and a pleasure to enjoy.
