The product is east to carry and has a handle for youngers to drag. My kids play all day in these and dont want to leave the river!

We bought this for our daughters 7th Birthday. She is super tiny and only 38 lbs. She had no issues maneuvering it, can drag it up onto the beach with out help and is thrilled to have her own "boat". We have only used this on the lake so far, but it is sturdy and should be suitable for years to come.

The process of shopping was a little nuts, but the kayak arrived safe and sound. No Box, just a heavy plastic bag. It is made well, and stable. The paddle is two-part and fits together, it's adjustable. This is the EXACT same kayak sold at other sporting good stores for $149.00. Can't beat Walmart's $109!! Remember to get the life jacket and the whistle too!

We absolutely love our kid-size kayaks! They are perfect at lake Powell, Bear Lake, and anyplace else you take your kiddos. They are easy to paddle and maneuver. Our grandkids just love them. Our 8 year old granddaughter paddled hers all the way out and back to Lone Rock at Lake Powell all by herself ! Great Product!

Bought this for my niece (4). She's still scared on her own, but we tied the handle of to the back of my kayak and towed her while she practiced. So long as she's not separate, she loves it. I love that she isn't falling on my knees anymore. Pretty plain simple design, but it floats on the creek just fine for a small child learning. I don't recommend standing, but it is pretty stable considering how much she moves around and hangs off the side. Loves that her feet can hang in the water like mine do. I do recommend this for small adventures in easy safe (supervised always) waters.

I purchased this for my grand-daughter....she loves it. She is only 6 but she is able to sit with legs crossed and move around...it is very stable for young kids. Definitely a great buy. The only downfall was because I purchased it for a 6 year old, the paddle was too big for her to fully control. We purchased her a smaller paddle and she can manuever fine now.

We have two youth kayaks and love them. My 7 year old grandson can carry/drag it on his own and loves kayaking with them. They are small enough to put in the back of my outback wagon and fit right on top of each other. They also fit great in my roof racks. We went out on the Saco river yesterday and he paddled 2.5 hours downstream. I recommend them to everyone who has small children. My daughter who weighs 130# has used it on the lake too.

I have three Wave kayaks for my grandchildren and one of the drain plugs come out after five years. I wrote an email to Lifetime requesting where I could buy one and to my surprise they promptly responded and sent replacement without any charges. Outstanding customer service!

My kids love this kayak. It’s a nice option for my 6 and 9 year old. They are able to kayak well on their own. It’s pretty light weight too make it easy to get in and out of the water. My 9 year old can lift it by himself. I highly recommend getting it.
