Great kayak for children weighing 60 pounds or less! Our 50-pound grandson loves this kayak! Kayak tips easily if more than 60 pounds climbs aboard. The paddles that came with the kayak are awesome! The kayak tipped as soon as my 140-pounds climbed aboard; however, I did manage to balance on the kayak to keep from tipping.

I purchased this as a second water toy for my son. I wanted him to be able to take a friend out Kayaking with him. He has attempted to stand up and paddle board on it. All of the kids absolutely love these kayaks. They are light and easy to get out of the water. I would highly recommend them!

I have written/called other companies in the past with NO reply, so I didn’t have high expectations. I plan on future purchases from Lifetime and I’ve already told friends about your fantastic customer service (with eight grandchildren, you just can’t have too many kayaks!).

This month I purchased this kayak so my 7-year old grandson could join me on some local kayaking trips. With two trips now under our belt, I give Lifetime a big "thumbs up". The kayak is well built, was priced great, delivered quickly, and is a huge hit in our family. I had to call customer service to ask a quick question about the availability of a seat/back and the CS representative, Jonathan, blew me away with his cheerful and helpful attitude. i bought this item offline, delivery was very quick! Only one slight problem with delivery! My phone number wasn't attached to my order and wasn't delivered to my address so when the shipment arrived in town they only hold it for one week before shipping back! Lucky I phoned to see were it was Before they shipped it back! But other than that I love it!!

Pleased with the product. I bought the kayak as a Christmas gift for my 9 and 5 yr old boys. Very disappointed in how Walmart packaged to ship it. As a result, the kayak was damaged, scuffed into the plastic and the drainplug damaged and pushed into the vessel. I didn't want to deal with trying to return/exchange so I called the makers of the kayak and ordered another plug. I will definitely have my big orders sent to store next time!!

A friend recommended this to me, and at the price, it seemed too good to be true. The first time my 9-year old put it into the ocean, she easily climbed off and kayaked away, looking like she'd been born to it. It's steady, fun, light enough for her to carry down to the beach by herself, and sturdy. We'll probably buy another for my 5-year-old next year.

My son is 8, and saved up his birthday money to buy this kayak. He and his friends loved it. We live near a bay, and at high tide, he paddled his friends out to the floating platform, and then near the beach, played capsize games. Great choice for a kid!

Bought these for my two boys after seeing some kids at the river with theirs. They love them! So many hours of fun outdoors. The price was very good and the quality amazing. If I could change one thing about them it would probably be the color of the paddles, black metal heats up a bit in the sun. Could fix that myself with the right paint though.

Just perfect for the money. My daughter is nine and had no problems floating the river in this kayak. Calm water or in the current. I am a small framed person and it also holds me just fine to. In my opinion, this is a great starter kayak for a child and a great deal for the cost. Not fancy by no means but serves the purpose.
