[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought two of these kayaks last year to try, my kids absolutely loved them. So we bought two more this year. They are easy for little people to stabilize and maneuver, small and lightweight enough to haul around and strong and sturdy for those accidental bumper boat incidences!! My kids LOVE these and I totally recommend them to anyone under that weight limit I love riding them as well!

At $90, shipping included, you can’t beat this kayak. I ordered one for my six year old, who has been asking to go kayaking with me. She is very tall for her age, but was the perfect size for the kayak. She was able to handle it easily. It is very light and easy to carry (though could use a handle on both ends). Ours does not have a back rest, but it does not seem necessary. Highly recommended.

Purchased for my 11 yr old son and he loves it . Very stable and easy to enter and exit. So stable and tracks well enough my 5 yr old daughter used it with no problems as well. Probably going to get my son a larger one and let my daughter use it for many more years.

My son is 7 and this is a stable beginner kayak! Great value and easy to carry at 20 lbs for him. I would highly recommend this kayak and brand! I have a Lifetime and payed way more at REI for it and payed almost 260 dollars less for the same kayak for my son here! Enjoy the several hours and summer fun with this kayak!

The kayak was a kid's kayak, so I had little experience with it personally. We had a problem with a plug and a seat and the people at Lifetime were terrific. Very personable and professional and the issues were resolved quickly. Five Stars for Excellent Service!

I got one of these for my son's 9th birthday. I needed it quickly, so I did not have time to wait for shipping. The first store I went to was sold out, but I was able to find this Blue one at the second store I visited for $88. The higher online price is probably to cover shipping expenses. This kayak is light enough that my 9-year old can pull it down to the pond and back up to the garage when he is done. It also scoots along the water with ease! I have an aluminum flat-bottom boat with a similar looking paddle to maneuver with, and there is no way I can catch him in my boat. I hope Walmart lets me keep the video link on here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cN1c74ijMM

Good quality and the kids can easily navigate with the paddles. I was impressed how stable they appear to be and the kids haven't fallen off them even goofing around on them. The only downside is being flat and with holes in it that it's a challenge to stay dry.

I ordered one of these kayaks from a big sports retailer for my daughter's birthday. I placed the order weeks in advance, as I know these items are hard to get in the summer. After 2 weeks, I checked on the status of my order & it was "unclear" whether it would be available on time. While on hold, I ordered the kayak at Walmart.com - got FREE SHIPPING - and was done. A week later, my kayak arrived days before the birthday. Thank you Walmart. I now have 2 of these kayaks -- they are excellent for kids. Light weight = easy to carry, the back allows children to slide off & climb back on in the water, it comes with a paddle and it is hours & hours of fun. When my youngest kids are a bit older, I will be ordering more of these for them.

Our grandchildren ages 8 and 12 started out with these in the pool. This was their first experience with a kayak. It was about a five minute self taught lesson and they headed for the open water canal. The kayak is so stable, they are even using them as a paddle board. Thanks for hours of enjoyment at a very affordable price and made in the USA.

Extremely stable. My 6 yr old grandson got on it & paddled away like he'd been doing it all his life. Hopped off in deep water & had no problem climbing back on from the back. Paddle is very light weight. Kayak can be handled easily by a child. Terrific, especially for the price.
