Came quickly and have had so much fun with it. Although a youth kayak, my weight falls just below the limit. I am 55 years old and wanted something light enough to carry down to the water and back again by myself. Also wanted something that would fit in my car. Putting part of back seat forward in a Subaru, it fits perfectly. Wonderful!

I bought this because the river is just a little to deep for my little guy to stand in it and this is light enough for me to carry it to the edge and pull him in the river and then ancore it so he could fish next to me. After a little bit he set him loose and he was able to row up stream with a pretty good wind in his face. Great product and great price.

Got my son (55 lb., 10 years old) one of these for Christmas. He has used it several times on flat water with no issues and he loved it. Finally got up the nerve to put him on the river in it. Did a 5 mile float for Fathers Day with no issues at all. River has a few descent Class II rapids. Yak was very easy for him to control and never flipped it. This is a great addition for any family wanting to get the kids on the water in a kayak.

I love this kayak, it will give years of use and then be passed on to the next person to use. Well made, however the the drain plug was not well made and pops so keep watch on that. The image of the yellow kayak shows the back rest which is NOT included with the kayak and is not available as an after market purchase. I was a bit ticked at that.

Easy to carry, well-designed little boat, perfect for this 110 lb 57-year old to go exploring the bay shore. Works surprisingly well. I took it out yesterday for the first time, transporting it in my Fit with a tarp, and it was a breeze to carry and to hose off afterwards. I wasn't looking for professional quality, just an easy, functional boat to explore around in, and this fills the bill.

Extremely stable. My 6 yr old grandson got on it & paddled away like he'd been doing it all his life. Hopped off in deep water & had no problem climbing back on from the back. Paddle is very light weight. Kayak can be handled easily by a child. Terrific, especially for the price.

This is a great kids kayak! My son age 11 (75 pounds) received this little boat for his birthday and was absolutely thrilled. He can carry it himself and it maneuvers very well. He uses it at Lake Tahoe in calm and choppy waters. The other day it was windy and he had no problem with instability. He had fun surfing the waves into shore. His friend (100 pounds) tried to climb aboard as well, but the combined weight flipped the boat. But another lighter friend was able to ride on the boat with him, so the weight limit of 130 seems accurate. Great sturdy little boat, we are so happy with it! Also, the price was decent plus free shipping.

Easily maneuverable by a 5 year old, yet fits my 8yr old well too! Pretty light weight and the kids can drag into the water and get on by themselves. The price is right! Two can actually fit on the inside of my minivan with the middle row center seat gone and the back seats folded down!

Just add a life vest. Bought one each for my 8 and 6 year old and they've had no trouble paddling around both a quiet pond and a calm ocean inlet. Max weight 130 lbs. Lightweight but sturdy and wide. Slightly awkward to carry for anything more than a few feet, so we are considering getting travel wheels.

We ordered these for our two youngest children ages 5 and 7. The first time out on the river we tied them to a tree just in case the current was too strong for them, but they tackled it with ease. They can scoot through the water like little torpedoes! We are amazed at how easily they can maneuver them around - our four children ended up in a game of kayak tag and the younger ones were much more agile. Stable enough my 7 year old enjoys standing up and paddling.
