Bought for a Christmas gift for my 8 and 9 yr old kiddos. They look like they are perfect size. They came in plastic wrap. If you are buying as a gift be aware they will not be covered. I will update my review once my kids get to use the Kayaks

Very fun, good price. Easy for kids to maneuver. They are having a blast with them. Definitely sinks into the water a little with high end of wt limit (my 17 yr old), but small enough for even smaller kids to paddle/steer themselves.

This youth kayak is perfect for children. It's lighter weight, the paddle is great size, and it gives the kids confidence they can control it on their own and it gives great exercise!

This was the biggest and happiest surprise for my grandsons 6 th birthday! He wanted to get back in the pool immediately, and he already is a pro at using it. Hopefully he will have many Summer's of fun with it!

Perfect for my six year old who's 45ish pounds with plenty of room to grow! Very stable and easy to handle. She can stop and turn on a dime! The pull up platform in the back is great for swimming and getting back on it! Love this kayak!!

we bought this as a gift for my daughter, she's still quite small but is still able to get the hang of it. She will grow wonderfully with this kayak. She is not intimidated by any means. Highly recomment, tons of summer fun!

Great value price includes paddles but no seat .Having a seat or back support would be nice and would help the child sit up better for ease of paddling.

This is the 7th Lifetime Wave 6ft youth Kayak that I have bought. I have bought all my grandchildren one of these as soon as they were old enough to use it. They have all enjoyed theirs a lot.

Easy to carry and get kids going. Eight year old had a blast. Taller kids (still under weight limit) had a harder time, since there is not a lot of leg room.
