Great kayak for my 10 year old & 6 year old! We were on the st. Lawerence river for a week & the kids used it every day. I am a little over the weight limit & was able to use it myself! Thinking of getting another one next year so both kids can use at same time!

We got one of these kayaks for each kid and, so far, they love them. We’ve already paddled several miles up and down a pretty wide and busy river, both with and against the current. The kids were able to keep up. Even with the waves from passing speedboats, they were able to stay upright by either facing into the waves, or by facing away and riding them. I like that we don't have to worry about them getting trapped inside if they were to flip. And of course life jackets are a must! These kayaks are light weight and easy to transport and could even support a small adult (under 130 or so , I believe?) Overall they were a good deal (especially since we had to buy several at once.) IMHO they pretty much payed for themselves the first time we took them out, especially when you considering pricelessness of family time spent out in nature.

I purchased 2 kayaks as Christmas gifts for my granddaughters in 2016. One of them had a seam that split after the first year and caused it to take on water. I was unaware of the issue for a few years. When I reported the problem to Lifetime (3 years and 11 months after purchasing it) they honored their lifetime warranty and set up an order to replace the kayak at no charge the next day.

After seeing these used by other children, my husband and I thought our 2 girls (ages 9 and 5) would love them! We bought 2 through Walmart.com. Walmart.com had the best price out of everyone I checked. I used regular shipping and had them within a week. The first time we used them, we gave the kids a few instructions on how to use one side of the paddle to turn around, but other than that, they caught on immediately! They loved it! We spent hours using them and gave turns to all the kids around us, who caught on quickly and loved them, as well! They fit well in the back of our minivan. When we used our SUV, we put them on the roof and secured with bungee cords. They are lightweight and easy for an adult to carry (finger grooves on the inside). We had the kids carry the paddles. We have a pontoon boat and put them in the middle of the boat with us to transport. When we have more passengers with us, our plan is to secure them on the back of the pontoon with the bungee cords.

I cannot wait to give this to my five year old son for Christmas! The color of green was just as I thought from the picture! I cannot wait until spring so we can take these out on the water! I am so ready for him to get out of my own kayak!!! He is going to love this!

My age is 69, I'm 4'10" and weigh about 112 lbs - Although I consider myself in good shape for my size and age, most kayaks are too heavy for me to handle when out of the water. I read good reviews by other small women so ordered this 6-foot youth kayak (yellow with back rest attachment and paddles) that weighs about 18 lbs. I call it my "Grannyak". I can pull it out of the water onto the dock (when the water is below the dock), then take it to where I store it beside our house. I had to shorten and sew the back rest straps because they were past the sitting area at the shortest length and didn't touch my back, but that was no problem to fix. I love being able to take my Grannyak out whenever I want to, paddle around, then store it without having to ask for help. It's perfect for me - or anyone smaller who can't manage the heavier weight of other kayaks or wants a small one to take in their vehicle. Also can't beat the sale price and free shipping. I love it for what I use it for, just another way to get a little more exercise.

My boys really enjoy playing in these kayaks and use them all the time in the Intracoastal near our house. On one kayak, the plug broke and went inside the kayak. I emailed Lifetime to ask how I could order a new plug. Within a day they emailed me back asking for product info and the following day offered to ship me replacement plugs free of charge. I’m always impressed when a company stands behind their products like this. Thank you.

Exceeded my expectations. It arrived with paddle and backrest. My grandson is a tall four year old . He followed verbal instructions and figured out how to paddle forward, backward and how to turn it around. He loves it. (He did great but I had it tethered to my hand just in case.)

Got 2 of these for our kids (6 & 9 yo) and they are simply perfect. They both fit in the back of my Honda Pilot and are light enough for me to carry to the water. The kids are light enough that they can ride double with their friends. They love giving rides and tipping over for fun! Awesome purchase.

We bought this for our 4 year old daughter and it has been perfect. It is stable, so when she leans over the side it doesn't tip over. It self bails, so if water gets in it, it automatically drains out. There's a notch in which she can put her paddle. And it is so easy to use - her second time out on the water she was paddling herself. She'll be able to use it for years to come. The quality for the price is excellent. On top of that, Lifetime has top notch customer service. We will be looking to them for our next kayak purchase as well.
