This is the perfect size for my 7 year-old. An adult kayak is a little too big for her to maneuver, so when we saw this, we had to have it. Both the kayak and paddle are light-weight. It has provided hours of fun!

We purchased the yellow since it was pictured with a backrest...to our disappointment it does not come with a back rest and they are impossible to find separate. Other than that my daughter loves the kayak.

We bought this for our 7year old to learn how to kayak with us on. She is very independent and this will take her to the next step with us on our adventures!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this kayak a few years ago and use it all the time. It's a perfect length and weight for my kids, making it easy to use.

I have 2 boys, ages 4 and 7 and they love this youth kayak. It's the perfect size for them to paddle around independently on the lake. I couldn't ask for a better product for them!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this kayak for a year and love it so much we bought a 2nd! Perfect for close lake trips and easy to throw in our speedboat and take on long trips!

We have 3 kids ages 4-8 and was surprised at how well all 3 learned so quickly. They paddled all day with little to no effort. The oldest even used it as a paddleboard. They were able to pull it on the bank independently. Love this product!!!!

Bought these for our 5 and 7 year old grandsons. They love them. Easy to use. Bought the yellow ones as I read the reviews and it seems the yellow one was the only one that came with a back.

I purchased this for my 8 year old Son. He loves it. It arrived on time, well packaged and not a scratch on it. We got the yellow one and it came with a back rest and a paddle. Looking forward to lots of fun on the water.

We bought this kayak for our grandchildren. My eight year old grandson kayaked a lake in New Hampshire, Maine and New Jersey and he loved it. It is a great kayak for a child to learn.
