Great taste

Quite frankly, the bowl is not nearly as full as the picture indicates. I'd recommend accompanying it with a croissant or piece of toast with this meal. I usually eat grapefruit with it. All that being said, this breakfast is very tasty and will be in my freezer at all times!

Great quick breakfast

Long a fan of these Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls, I had for quite some time considered the Meat Lovers flavor their best. All that changed about 18 months ago when the Meat Lovers variety became WAY too salty, so much so that I honestly could not eat it anymore. At all. I asked several friends of mine to give it a try, thinking it was just me. It wasn't. Each of my buddies agreed—the extreme saltiness of this product rendered it inedible, unless one happens to love VERY salty foods, of which this is definitely one of those. That's really too bad, too, because the Meat Lovers contained a good amount of protein. My favorite flavors now are the Steak & Egg and the Turkey Sausage. Both of those are their top versions of their breakfast bowls, IMHO.

For some it’s too much meat but it is meat lovers option! Cooks up easy in microwave. You cook for 2 minutes, then stir and cook another 1 minute. We personally only go 30-40 seconds because it seems to clump past that. No complaints about ingredients. Lots of meat, cheese and potatoes. Price is great!

Package states each serving is 48% daily value of sodium. That is very inaccurate. According to the USFDA this products sodium content is closer to 58%. 2000mg or 5g is the maximum amount of sodium for an average person. Most products you'll find everywhere are incorrectly labeled in this manner. Read your labels.

This is one of the most disappointing purchases I've ever made at a Sam's Club. I know it's never wise to buy in bulk an item you've never tried before but I'm been a fan of a lot of Jimmy Dean breakfast items for a while so I said why not.......... and here's the reason why not: this barely counts as food for humans. it is the nastiest thing I've ever tried to eat for breakfast. the texture can only be described as a horrific marriage between squishy and wet with a taste that resembles a cross between an unseasoned potato and a sausage that was probably made in the same factor as sausage with flavor but the machine was broken that day. I've tried 2 of the 8 bowls that came in this pack. I've was so repulsed by my breakfast the first time I actually just went hungry because I didn't have time for anything else but thankfully this second time, I'm going to leave this review and find something even the dogs wouldn't be nervous to try.
