After reading the directions here online, it makes sense how to cook this super thin bacon. It's so thin, it will stick to your pan and burn. Directions say just lift a parchment layer, and put on sheet pan and cook in oven. I can see that working. Haven't tried it yet. The smell and taste is really good. But really way too thin. I did use it for wrapping asparagus. That was fine.

This is a staple and great for Keto. Kids love it wrapped around fresh asparagus, grilled on the Foreman and topped with a sprinkle of shaved parmesan and fresh cracked black pepper! We will never stop buying this. These are not the skinny dried ones found at the local grocery stores.

Not sure what has changed but this used to be great bacon. I feel like I wasted my money this time because the slices are so thin it is difficult to get them off the paper without ruining them. I could read a book thru them they are so thin. I'll pass on this product going forward!

I have seen a lot of comments about the cost going up and down over the past 2 to 3 years and as a former farmer I can tell you the market has been very volatile during the same period.If you follow the Chicago Board of Trade you can watch the fluctuations; bacon is made from "Pork Bellies" which are traded just like pork, beef, corn and soybeans.

Bought this even though I was worried about spending so much on such a large amount without being able to test it first -- but I am glad that I did. It is nearly as easy to make as the pre-cooked stuff -- and a ton less expensive. I have been surprised to find that we do use this 10 lb box in the time it lists to stay fresh (one of the advantages of processed meats like bacon) without having to freeze it. However, I'd freeze it in sheets (to make it easier to cook in portions), if not -- just due to it being a good deal for good bacon. It isn't as great or as thick as Wrights, but it's thicker and more flavorful than the Oscar Meyer pre-cooked. I cook a sheet at at time per the oven instructions --- right on the parchment paper on a foil covered sheet pan, and it comes out perfectly crispy every time.

Every time I have purchased this item in the past it has been excellent. I have always separated it into separate one pound packages and used it in around 6 months but the last package I purchased in May '21 has already gone rancid in the freezer at 10 degrees below zero in less than 4 months..

I have had great experiences with this product. My most recent purchase of it is very salty. Not sure why the bacon is different this time. It is very very salty. I did not add salt to my hamburger patty since I was using this salty bacon. Hopefully next time it will be back to normal.

Have purchased this bacon many times, it never disapoints. While it is sold in a 10 lb box so number of slices may vary the box i recieved had roughly 180 slices if it helps give you an idea. I purchase and then package smaller to stick in freezer and eat at my own pace.

Restraunt bacon is the best bacon we ever had.great flavor and almost melts in your mouth.cooks up nicely in oven ,my husband can cook it on the stove (me I burn everything especially bacon) he does breakfast .I'm lunch and dinner cook.like I said great bacon...

My husband and I have always loved this bacon!! Till this last Sunday we stopped at sams and got our meat like we normally do but this time I grabbed 2 boxes of bacon because like I said before we love this bacon! This time was very different. It cooked the same but there was no flavor at all.. it tasted like paper and it had no smell. Ruined me I will never purchase this bacon again too much money down the drain.
