This bacon USED TO BE excellent. It WAS actually the best bacon I had ever had. Then the price swole by $2 per pound and it became the same ole waxy, flavorless, waste of money you get at the regular grocery store. SUPER DISAPPOINTED

Check the price per pound! This bacon is cut extremely thin. When first introduced at Sam's it was less than the thick cut price per pound. Not so anymore.

Have gotten this bacon in the past and will probably try a couple more in the future - but was not to happy with this batch, normally i can pull off a full sheet and place it on a sheet pan, but this batch appears to have frozen and thawed a few times so the ends were mangled together so you could not just pull off the sheets of bacon - also the slices were not as consistent as in the past so cooking was not even

I have been buying this for about 3 years, and about 6 months ago I think they switched suppliers or something because, the price went up at least 1/3.The last two times I purchased this from Sams I brought it home and it was molded. It wasn't even expired. The first time I took it back and exchanged it, but they acted like I must have left it out or something, so the second time I just tossed it. Will not be buying it again.You would be better off going to the grocery store, finding it on sale and stocking up.

I have been buying this Restaurant Style Bacon for about 5 years, and the quality has always been excellent. The last time I purchased it was in April 2016, and the quality was awful. It does not appear to have been cured properly. It does not fry up crisp and has no smoky taste. In fact it is tasteless. I will not be buying this anymore.

Our food truck goes through a lot of bacon. Having it laid out on sheets allows us to quickly prepare it. Cleanup is easy, as the sheet pans only need a quick wash to remove any grease after draining the fat and throwing the paper away. The bacon strips stay flat while baking in the oven.

We use to like this bacon, excellent flavor, consistent thickness making it easy to cook. When we get home, using the Food Saver machine, we break it down into one pound vacuum packed packages before freezing. This last box of bacon was awful. Thickness varied. There was no flavor, the tips of the bacon was lightly gray, it seemed to be uncured slabs or raw pork and a good portion tasted rancid fully cooked. I'm guessing Sam's Club outsource to a different [low quality] supplier. A good amount of this bacon, after being cooked, went to our resident raccoons. No I do not have the production information on the box. It was bought three months ago, separated into one pound packages and the original box was discarded the same day we brought it home from the Roanoke, VA store.

Picked this up today! Happy to find it in stock since many reviews state it is sometimes had to find !! I wasn’t sure about 10 pounds of bacon but hey it’s bacon sooooooo what’s 10 lbs ?!? Totally impressed with the packaging and happy with the cooked product ! I baked it off the parchment sheet cause I line my pan with foil it fits perfectly in my oven and I can fit 19-20 pieces of bacon pre baking sheet!! I took three of the sheets that are divided with parchment paper and placed my own piece of parchment (from Sams Club best parchment ever ) folded over and put either 2 or 3 sheets of bacon per freezer bag !! Per sheet of bacon is 10 slices of bacon Baked at 350” for 15-18 minutes we like it crispy ;) The flavor of the bacon is great ! Baked up wonderfully The thickness is perfect and crispy Will definitely buy again Thanks Sams for a wonderful product

This is mighty decent bacon for the price. A little high in fat, not that special but it's good bacon. Good for large groups. I've used them to make Mountain Man Brefixt, bacon BLTs, and just straight up bacon. And the best part is.....it's gluten free!!! So have as much as you want.

Like other reviews I have been using the restaurant bacon a long time and the last time it was a different brand. I was raised on a farm and when we butchered we would render the lard in a large kettle and the remains of the fat was called crackings, the pieces of fat after removing the lard, well this is what the bacon taste like, no taste, like it was never smoked or cured. Sam's should go back to the previous supplier even if it cost a bit more.
