The lettuce is fine in this double pack. The lettuce kept in the refrigerator without going bad before I could use it. The heads were a good size and were good tasting.

Lettuce heads are not uniform. One head is nice and full and the second one is full of air, probably a third of the quantity. I know every head cannot be the same size

Iceberg lettuce was good for couple of days but quickly got pink/brown leaves. If you’re going to have it right away, it’s good. Otherwise just buy a head from Walmart.

I bought these two heads of lettuce to make salads with and by the time we went to make salads same afternoon we had to trim over 1/2 of the head due to slimy covering...

Very poor quality iceberg lettuce. Tiny heads and not real fresh! Very disappointing. Wish they would have said they were out rather than to give that poor quality produce to a club member!

I don't usually purchase iceberg lettuce, but I was craving some. (Weird I know). The 1st head I opened, had visible bugs - gnats or baby flies. I was able to wash off these bugs, but the 2nd head was absolutely filled with critters. I soaked, washed and used a salad spinner and they wouldn't come loose. Luckily, I have a tortoise who like lettuce. The taste was crisp and fresh on the 1st head, but I just couldn't bring myself to eat the 2nd one.
