The picture quality is comparable to the more expensive ones on the market and the features are easy to use. There are some apps that are not available on the web OS so I still have to use my Fire Stick but it's easier to switch inputs compared to my old TV.

I bought both TV's a year ago. The quality of the UQ8000 picture and sound is so similar that I have gone back and purchased another for my mother. I am streaming 4K to both TV's and have been extremely satisfied. For the price difference, this is my favorite TV and I will continue to highly recommend.

I bought this TV about a month ago, and I've got to say it's absolutely amazing for its price. The quality, the features, the sound system and how easy it is to set up - everything. I really recommend this TV for anyone who is looking for that grand 'theatre' quality for a TV.

We bought this TV approximately three weeks ago. We don't use cable we just do streaming and it has much more to offer than we expected. There are more functional apps that we can use with just the wireless connection that we even knew about. The picture is great and the sound is much better than our old TV. We are very pleased with our purchase.

This was our first smart TV and my husband is very high on LG, so he wouldn't buy any other brand. The picture is fine, still learning about the features. The main thing I take issue with is the lack of hookups on the back of the TV. It's been weeks and I am still struggling to connect a sound bar and a DVD with no success yet. Additionally, some apps like Pluto are prompting me to input my LG password, but when I do that, it says it's incorrect. Very frustrating.

it has a good picture most of the time it has some definite issues and usability problems. 1. Even though it has most streaming apps it doesn't have the ones I use and it is irritating. 2. It is extremely difficult to cast from a mobile device. 3. Continual pop up ups about stands and so on do not go away when acknowledged. 4. Occasionally tv turns on by itself. Other than those issues it has a good picture.

Bought this TV with size, gaming, HDR, sound and movies in mind in this order. With a big living room I was looking for a tv to fill it and has good views from alot of angles. With its IPS screen, viewing angles didnt suffer. My family loves to play video games and LG is the best in this sector (imo) and with 4k, 120hz, it was a great choice. HDR on this tv is quite nice. Sound has been decent but I have a sound system with dolby atmos so I'm not concerned. All this made the decision of purchasing this tv a no-brainer. For the price, I highly recommend this tv in its current pricing for the size, and features it offers. One BIG concern while shopping for a tv was image burn. While OLEDS are the best tvs for image quality, my family plays alot of gsmes and gsme uses huds, etc that stay on screen usually the whole gaming session, I didn't want any imaging burn. Picture quality could be better by getting something different but for my use with a big living room and how my living room is set up, the wide view helps from the IPS. Contrast, black colors suffer but it's something I'm willing to trade off for.

Just 3 months since I bought the smart TV, I can't change the channels, the laser remote control with the TV doesn't communicate corectly. It doesn't change the channels or it changes to another channel or it just takes a while “thinking” the tv and dies nothing! Bad TV. Now to return a nightmare!

The 55 inch size picture is so much more enjoyable to watch and the sound is outstanding! It was a great value compared to I the competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this TV to replace a bedroom TV. The picture quality is great. Set up was intuitive and streamlined. We have been using the TV for about a month and have been impressed. My only complaint is the lack of backlight on the remote . Since it is a bedroom TV it is usually dark in tge room and the remote is impossible to use. The lights have to be turned on often.
