Decent product when the chain doesn't come off. It doesn't function well with limbs that are at the top end of its capabilities. Chain comes off basically every third or fourth cut. Takes a good 5 minutes to fix every time it breaks. Extremely annoying and the design needs to be modified to be considered a good product.

I have had this for several years. I bought it after my divorce in 2010. I knew I would need to trim some limbs and didn't want to call someone to do it and I'm pretty scared of a Gas powered chainsaw. This works great! Fast forward 10 years and my husband tried it and was impressed! I love that it works every time we go to use it.

I've had this tool for 2 years now and waited to write this review so I had enough time to properly use it. In short, this is a perfect tool for small jobs and clean up. It's more powerful than it looks and it easily chops through any branch you can fit into it's mouth. From time to time the chain will come off, this is no problem as it's very easy to open and clear it out. In fact, I believe the manual recommends you check, clear and clean the area it after X amount of cuts and I do that routinely to avoid this happening. I also purchased the extension tool, I've used it a few times but the tool itself is a bit heavy and even more so when you use this so just be aware. It's super easy to use, although I must admit I've sliced through 3 electric cords because I've have so much fun using it I took my mind off the cord so don't be me and pay better attention to what you're doing!

Bought this to do some tree trimming around the house and it has proven to be so much more helpful. We burn wood throughout the winter and this helps with cutting some smaller logs into pieces for fire starting. It can be used safely in the garage. The extension pole has really come in handy with the extremely high pine tree next to the deck!

I received the JawSaw last year for my birthday. I used it, my wife used it, and our 10 year old boy used it. For cutting up small limbs and trees it is great. I do wish I had the cordless model, though. Last fall I also bought the extension pole to trim some higher branches. I felt it did not really extend my reach as much as advertised, and it is very top heavy and hard to handle. I do not recommend the extension.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used our electric chainsaw three times since buying it a month ago. It was easy to unbox and putting the oil in was a breeze. I used it with an extension cord for about an hour on day 1 and then the chain came off. I skimmed over the directions and tightened the chain. Day 2, I used the saw for five minutes before the chain came off. This time, I read the directions thoroughly and saw that I shouldn't be afraid of over tightening anything. When I put the chain back on and tightened it with all my might, I was able to use it for five hours without any issue. Read the directions before starting and avoid the user errors. I'm very happy with this purchase.

We foolishly planted too many ornamental trees in our front yard and decided at least one "has to go". After cutting down the limbs our pole saw could reach easily and safely, this JawSaw made scrap small enough to put into Contractor bags out of the thicker parts of the limbs. Fast as I could advance it down the limb, it cut it up into small "chunks". I love this little saw up to now. At 75, I darned sure appreciate anything that makes short work out of what used to be a lot of hand sawing.

A little hard to handle, push down with your thumb, squeeze the handle and push in all the while having to hold it up and your project in the bottom jaw. Bottom jaw fills up with wood chips so you have to tip them out after every cut. It did what I needed done. And didn't wasn't loud.

I have always been afraid of chainsaws , but since I bought my JawSaw there is nothing that I cant do. My brothers love it because I don't ask them to help me anymore. I love it worx great easy to use, I have the blower, trimmer/edger, and the tri vac, could not live without my Worx.
