What a back saver

now if i could only figure out the best chain sharpener to use with this.....i am not real fond of the bar oil utility, in that it doesn't have a cap...that's important to me, because i don't want debris getting into my oil, and i don't want oil coming out when it's not supposed to....it's a great unit, and a little draw back, but the little draw back get's bigger if it ends up being garbage if i can't think of something else to use it for when i come up with something else to use for applying the bar oil to the machine. don't worry about me, i will get it, but consider future customers please. thank you, i have two because they are perfect for the most of the jobs, and my 15 Amp Worx saw does well with the rest. bio-char / old growth restoration project coordinator, E.W.Koch, ( aka. rulgert ghostalker )

I adore the JawSaw but had to send it back due to the tension nut being able to turn at all. I quickly received my replacement JawSaw and it was wonderful until that is the chain came off, and the tension nut would not turn at all, even brought it to neighbors to try to do as well. My rating would have been 5 stars if the JawSaw actually worked as it was suppose to. I gave it a 2 due to when I could cut with it, it was fantastic. BUT if any adjustment or chain reset was needed--well it was not possible on 2, yes 2 JawSaws. I can understand an issue with 1 but the same issue on 2! If either of the JawSaws I had and have actually was able to use the tension adjustment nut I would be super pleased with this product. As it is I cannot justify any monies on a product I could only use for a short period of time and then is rendered useless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used our electric chainsaw three times since buying it a month ago. It was easy to unbox and putting the oil in was a breeze. I used it with an extension cord for about an hour on day 1 and then the chain came off. I skimmed over the directions and tightened the chain. Day 2, I used the saw for five minutes before the chain came off. This time, I read the directions thoroughly and saw that I shouldn't be afraid of over tightening anything. When I put the chain back on and tightened it with all my might, I was able to use it for five hours without any issue. Read the directions before starting and avoid the user errors. I'm very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my saw I would recommend it for the ladies that are slight afraid of the regular chain saws. The only issue I have with it is it gets jammed and I have to pull off the battery to get it to stop. Other wise it is a great tool!

A little hard to handle, push down with your thumb, squeeze the handle and push in all the while having to hold it up and your project in the bottom jaw. Bottom jaw fills up with wood chips so you have to tip them out after every cut. It did what I needed done. And didn't wasn't loud.

I went out today to cut down two large trees and the jawsaw was a beast. It tore through the branches with ease. I am a 53 year old women who used a regular powered saw in the past and it took forever to use and my shoulder and wrist was hurting after doing the work. I am glad i decided to try the jawsaw it was the best thing that I could have done.

This was my first Worx tool. It looked too good to be true. I watched the video and ordered it. It has exceeded my expectations. Now, 2 or 3 years later, I am still using it, same blade, works like it always has. Really nice to be able to cut up small branches for firewood. It led to my habit of going back to the Worx site every once in a while or when I needed a tool and seeing what Worx had. Since then, I've added 5 more tools to my Worx workshop. I got the work table from my sons last Christmas, bought the switch drill for my son to install a storm door. One by one.

I have always been afraid of chainsaws , but since I bought my JawSaw there is nothing that I cant do. My brothers love it because I don't ask them to help me anymore. I love it worx great easy to use, I have the blower, trimmer/edger, and the tri vac, could not live without my Worx.

Used it for the first time yesterday and it's great. Cuts branches that are too small to cut with a regular chain saw, quickly and smoothly. Great for wooded property cleanup. Now we can us all the branches from felled trees as firewood too, and don't need to borrow a chipper.
