Love the flap steak but too expensive

I bought this thinking it was the same cut used for churrasco, but realized I was wrong. It was still delicious and definitely economical. I did a ginger, garlic, soy marinade the first time and cooked it in a pan and it was fine, but chewy. The second time around, I added pureed kiwi to the marinade (I heard it tenderizes meat) and it came out a lot better - much more tender to eat. I think grilling would be best, though... but I haven't tried that yet.

Have anyone experienced this ? Weight whole package first, to test your scale, then just the meat, always missing from 0.27 - 0.44 . The point here is the weight of packaging,they overestimate it, to give us less meat, same with chicken.

Unfortunatly 80% of the time Sams club meat is bad quality. Hard: with fat and not a pleasant experience. May be one of the reasons I stop consuming red meat.
