So far I have only used it a handful of times for both color & black & white printing and a scan. I am very satisfied with it so far and plan to print some photos soon and hopefully, the printer will perform better than my last one using non-letter-sized paper. It prints very fast and the completed items are clear and business quality.

I have only had HP printers since i started using a computer, so i can't really compare. To me, HP is the best....no brainer!! They are work horses and never (at least in my case) never break down. The team support is awsome.....what more to say! In today's world to have something work by the time you get it home and on top of that have a great support team, seems like a win, win to me. Thanks HP

Very difficult to reach a real person in product support to help with connecting printer to computer or network. Disappointed to find that document feeder does not accommodate envelopes. Greatest complaint with HP printers is the difficulty of changing from full sheets of paper to envelopes

Set up was quite easy but some problems with printing files from my phone which I haven't yet resolved. Great deal on the first year's ink. I'm replacing an old similar all in one office jet pro that had intermittent problems but served me well for more than 10 years

I would have scored the mark higher except for the function of the machine. This wireless connectivity is for the birds. This model is my fourth one in the HP line. Every one of these machine (all different models) seems t have problems setting and maintaining a connection with my laptop. My GF has a printer (different brand) and I have no problems with that one. I use her printer quite often after giving up waiting for my laptop and the HP 123 software to try and connect. Manual operation of the machine isn't the best either. And the solution of plugging in a cable provides no improvement.

The machine operates as expected. It prints, scans, copies on command. It's a bit sleeker looking and also a bit quieter than the HP it is replacing. One demerit is that the tray that catches the printed and copied paper is actually too short, so the paper does not lay flat when it comes out of the printer and it does not seem able to hold a larger print or copy job.

This is an aggravating printer, work for a while, throw error codes regularly, got to be Houdini to keep it going, it's quit again, will have to get one tomorrow, better get an extended warranty on this anchor posing as a printer, I would rather pay a little more and get something I can actually use, every time you pay for the ink you're buying another printer anyway, tomorrow I won't be buying their ink, I will be buying someone else's printer

We have had the HP 8028e printer/scanner for almost a year. Setup was terrible; wound up having HP support set it up. I have been on the phone with them so many times since then that they should know me personally! Sometimes it prints and sometimes it scans (keyword is "sometimes"; definitely not consistently). I would guess at least 50% of the time, it doesn’t work. It is not a printer or scanner where you select an option, and it works right away. We do not have cable internet, so our computer is not online all the time. Some support people told us that was not a problem, but others told us "all we have to do is hook up to the internet and it will work." Not true. We have the same printing/scanning issues whether we are on the internet or not. We bought the ink package (figured it was cheaper than buying ink cartridges). That part was good, and then I changed to a cheaper plan. We received an email telling us that the ink cartridges we have will NOT work after our plan expires. Since we have only paid $6 for one month, if the new ones don't work after our downgrade, I will trash this printer and buy another brand even though we still have 12 months left on our warranty. Life is too short to fight something like this.

Returned after my 6 month instant ink subscription expired. I didn't end of printing 100 pages a month so when my subscription ended I still had a lot of ink leftover. Yet if you are unenrolled in the program the ink no longer works and you can't use the printer for anything more than a paperweight. You'll continuously get an error on the screen. So i said, why not and reenrolled, paid the 5.99, only to find out once you unenroll, you have to create another account to re enroll, so why did it let me buy another plan? It's a horrible system and is just out for your money. You can use smart ink or other companies online to save money but this subscription plan that renders your printer useless unless you pay into the plan is a horrible model. Feels like you don't own the equipment at all. My next printer won't be an HP.
