Look up making emergency candles on Google. This can will burn 8 hours a day for SEVENTY TWO days. Better to melt in microwave, then transfer to BIG mason jar. Then stick a Taper candle in the middle. You may need to trin the bottom of the taper so the wick is level on top. Get this ready for hurricane season. (Anyone know how a silicone holder would work?) You can also make a bunch of small candles using just a birthday candle. I grew up using Crisco. I will not substitute any other brand of vegetable shortening in a recipe! Biscuits are light and fluffy, pie crust flaky, dinner rolls soft.

This is a lot cheaper at Sam’s than any where else, I only use Crisco for my baking , cheaper brands are to greasy tasting

Was very disappointed not because of the product. The product waa delivered damaged and i had to go to the store to get a refund. Because they do not have the product at the store. The problem was i had it delivered so i did not have to go to the store and had to go anyway and still did not get my product. Very upset.

Shipped in a large rectangular box with no packaging so that it rolls all around. Shipped by FEDEX so it was thrown all around! Came so dented up that it will not stand up in the cabinet and looks like it might be dented open in areas. It is a good price but not if you can’t use it! Sam’s club needs to learn how to pack boxes!

Your shipping department needs training. The first one was dented on the bottom. They replaced it. Who ever packed the second one put three thin pieces of paper in a big box (that arrived ripped) with the Crisco. It was dented even worst. Both cans of Crisco are leaking "Crisco" Please train the people who pack things. Products do get moved around in shipping.

I love this product. I've used this for many years. Unfortunately when I ordered it on line, all of my products were damaged due to packaging. I'm still waiting for my replacement. Other than that, it's a very good product. Don't order online. You will be disappointed.

Crisco has always tasted bad and been a necessary evil for making white icing, this ruined 35 ils of icing ! It just turns to mushy grease no matter how much powdered sugar is added! The more you try to spread it the worse it gets melts in the bag as well. Not like normally after holding it for a long time. Environment was 50 degrees. ! They have changed the ingredients apparently! The absolute worst garbage ** ever! Ruined hundreds of dollars of product!

Product is great but packing caused damage for the second time! Packer crammed two cans in small box and then broke bubble wrap to keep in smaller box. Bottom of cans dented and broken open. I used gray packing tape to enclose so I could use it. Won’t order online again. Packing was terrible.
