Great box for home or personal shop because the drawers don't lock but would be easy to make your own if you were to use it in a plant environment where you would want to lock the drawers. Every piece is labeled and the instructions are simple and easy to understand. It took me about 3.5 hours to unpack, lay everything out and put together by my self. The ball bearing drawer slides roll very smoothly and quite. For the price I don't think you can beat it. Lots of room and the hard wood top looks to good to mess up, but I guess it will be used as a work surface! They did a great job designing this box as a piece assembly box and then writing the assembly instructions. If Assembled correctly you wont be disappointed. This would have gotten 4 or 5 stars had I not had to contact Seville to get replacement parts for panels that were bent due to poor packaging. This delayed the box being fully assembled(i.e. functional) for about 2 weeks. Seville was more then happy to send out the replacement panels, but I still needed to fix 2 of them when I got them. They asked me to email pictures of the damaged parts to them, but did not contact me with their information. This tool box is very heavy and contains a lot small screws to install. Also only the center cabinet has a lock on it.

I would not buy this! This was the last piece in the whole set that I had yet to purchase. Their products built just a couple of years ago have filled my shop and have taken abuse and work perfectly. I had one spot saved for this 72" piece and could not wait to get it. The new stuff is not made nearly as well: the frame, top sides are all built very solid but it’s the mechanics of the drawers that makes any piece worth its salt. They have changed their drawer design and it’s not near the quality of their older stuff. The drawers were difficult to align hard to assemble. The threaded rivets leave little or no room for error. Some of the threaded rivets stripped out others just would not accept the screws completely. I was left with many drawers that the screws will not draw tight. Even the drawers that went together perfectly are not half as smooth and do not close as nicely like the older products I purchased from them. It’s cheap compared to their older stuff. I do consider myself to be extremely handy and very meticulous person, there is not much that I cannot build or assemble.

Directions extremely vague and this is really rough to put together. Comes in a million pieces. Took 2 people over 5 hours to put together because you can't use power tools or it will bend the metal. The finished product was off kilter and none of the drawers close properly. That's the one part that came completed, we didn't do that part and it didn't line up with the rest of the parts. Really frustrating to spend that much time and money and have a finished product that looks junky.

If I could have one change I wish everything lock. When I purchased it I saw the lock so with not looking any further I thought everything locked up. Only where the lock is located locks. I bought this for my photo transfer shop everything else is perfect . Great price and quality. I bought the tables also for my heat presses all great product. Female unloaded and put together by myself. I would suggest a helper heavy trying to handle work bench. Start to finish I did accomplish this but my Dad always has said mind over matter but he has a hernia so I guess in time I may also. Great products I will be adding as my business grows.

When I knew I was going to remodel my kitchen, I started looking at mobile kitchen islands and the standard all wood ones either didn't have the features I wanted (not enough drawers) or were too expensive (over $600). I also wanted to use it as a temporary kitchen during remodeling. Yes, it took 2 people about 3 hours to put it together, but it is quite sturdy. I put plates, bowls and serving dishes in the larger left hand drawers and utensils in the smaller right hand drawers. Even after the remodel I prefer keeping everything in it. Everything is very organized, it is an OCD dream, : drawer 1) silverware 2) knives 3) spatulas and wooden spoons 4) wisks and tongs 5) flat graters, etc. 6-8) odds & ends and house tools. I can also roll it over to the dish washer when I unload it; very convenient.

I bought one for my home when I lived in Ohio. I also bought one in Florida for my place there and helped a friend put his together. I am very happy with this tool box. I saw some other reviews about this not complimentary. I don't understand that. This thing is like a tank and I have moved my Florida model 5 times. Key to success, repeat key to success, READ THE DIRECTIONS. And also be patient. I have had no issues assembling this box and it has been super. I added a vice on one end of mine which bolted to this maple hardtop works really well. If you don't have mechanical skills get someone who does. I would estimate it took me about 2 hours for the first one, 1 1/2 for the second one and 1 for the 3rd one but had a friend helping.

I decided to build a small apartment in my shop. I wanted to continue a mechanical/shop feel inside the apartment, so I liked the look of the tool box. I learned that generally kitchen style cabinets are really expensive, even for cheap unfinished ones. So this system of "tool" cabinets really worked for me in price and style. I modified the main tool box with a new top to fit my wall space and to accommodate a sink. Parts choice all worked out just perfectly and it all fits like a factory style job. It has been a great addition to my shop apartment kitchen, and I look forward to seeing how well I can adapt other pieces of the system to the rest of the apartment. I will say, the tool box price is worth it to me... but the 300$ shipping really pushes my buttons. If the other toolbox of same weight yet different style is free shipping... this b one should be too!!!

Looking to upgrade from my old toolboxes that were falling apart, I did some research on the internet. The wood top rolling toolbox from Sam's caught my eye. It's very bright and warm. It's not cold and dark like most common roll around toolboxes. I liked the overall look of the box. The stainless steel front and the powder coated gray body I’m sure will resist scratches and dings and will last for many years to come. Both side have the pegboard holes which was a surprise because the description did not say anything about it. Anyway, having not ever used a peg board before, I found myself buying several peg board attachments and finding it very useful. The "chopping board" top is solid and smooth. I was worried about the ball bearing drawers rolling open as the cabinet is moved but to my surprise they sort of "lock in" when the drawers are fully closed. They are a little stiff to open when new, takes a little bit more effort but I am sure they will loosen a little over time. I like the hard rubber casters and these things really roll. You have to be careful on the slightest incline or your box will run away from you if you don't have the wheels locked. The drawer space is plentiful. Each drawer comes with its own padding which is a plus. They keep your tools from rolling around and scratching the bottom of the drawers when opened and shut. The center of the box has a hinged door and inside is one shelf which is adjustable. The only drawback is that. One shelf. I wish the manufacturer had included two or three shelves (hint, hint) or at least have the option of ordering a couple more shelves. They really put some thought into packaging this product. Be sure to bring at least two other people to help load the boxes. There are two of them and they are very heavy. Be prepared to spend some time assembling. The instructions are very thorough but still took me a good day to assemble this box. Be sure that have plenty of space to lay out all your parts. I am so glad each part was marked with their own unique letter for the instructions. This box is not just for a garage, shop or shed. It is nice enough to be used inside your house. The stainless steel box would match a stainless steel refrigerator or stove. Overall I am very pleased with this box and I find it reasonable priced. Liked it so much that I bought the smaller rolling toolbox to go with it.

Ultra Heavy-Duty 12-Drawer Rolling Workbench was a purchase that met all of my expectations. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. My only suggestion is that the drawer mats should be a lighter color than black so tools with a dark or black finish can be easily spotted.
