Great all around Smith Machine. You can do many different exercises and work most major muscle groups with this system. Nice array of bars come included. I found it mostly easy to put together once I had all of the parts unwrapped and laid out with the exception of the cables which were a bear to figure out. The packaging was good and there was no damage with the exception of one minor scrape. I would like it if the weight pegs were far enough apart to accommodate bumper plates. They arent. I would really, really like it if the bench had wheels so it could be rolled out to be able to get to the seated row foot plate and be able to do shoulder shrugs with the Olympic bar. The weight bench is not on wheels. Overall, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this product to a friend, however, Id warn them to order rubber coated cast iron plates or iron plates as the pegs dont accommodate bumper plates and let them know that the bench is a bear to move and should be on wheels. I very much like using this smith machine. I think that it is a good piece of equipment and is pretty well built. I shopped around online and at several stores before ordering this one. I have used it a few times already and like the quality and ease of operation. The only complaint that I can think of is that it took about six hours to assemble. The bench is alot nicer than the one I had. It is very sturdy and you can incline or decline. I also like all of the accessories that came with it. There is the pull down bar, a rope, an ankle attachment, and another tricep handle and two handles like the ones shown in the picture. I also like the six pegs for weight storage. I think that for the money, it is hard to find a better quality unit and besides that, it was delivered to my door and I didn't have to figure out how to get it home from a store.

This is a great home gym and I would definetely recommend it to anyone interested in working out at home. Expect that two people will be needed to assemble it and it will take approximately 5 hours. Also, you will want to WD40 the vertical post, so that the weights move smoothly and you may also want to buy a couple of c clips from the hardware store ($2 each) to make it easier to add/remove the cable grips and bars. Once those minor changes are made, it works perfectly.

I really like this system coupled with a separate purchase of Olympic weight plates. Even with that extra money I prefer this over the smaller sets with weight stacks on them. Two people assembly would be nice but wasn’t a necessity as I did it myself. Make sure you set your flat head bolts in the holes and use your socket set and a quality hex driver for the hex head bolts and you’ll have a much more enjoyable assembly. My only complaint would be at Marcy the manufacturer, for very poor assembly instructions.

I ordered this gym and 3 days later it was delivered in perfect condition. Couldnt be happier with this part of the transaction. The gym is a beast to put together, I recommend having someon to help. The gym is very solid and sturdy. The cable pully system seems to be really smooth. I used some light duty grease on the frame that the pulley system uses. One complaint I do have is the bench has an uncomfortable lumbar support. It really limits your positioning on the bench. It could use some more positions to rack the smith bar. With all that said I would by this machine again. It is really a nice setup.

This meets all my expectations for a home gym. Only thing I didn't like is that I paid full price and then the day it was delivered, it was on sale for 300 dollars less.

I would have rated this a 5 but the setup was insane... I think Marcy gets a laugh out of people looking through the boxes for parts... Machine works great once finally put together...

Lots and lots of parts. Took us three nights to Put it together. But its a great machine- sturdy, all the elements you could need for a good workout. Worth the wait to get it and highly recommend.

I bought this thinking I could perform all my favorite exercises that I used to do at the gym, and I was right. I love this machine and so does my teenage boy. Super easy to put together. I highly recommend this system to anyone.
