WOULDN'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE

I am a contractor and drive 35K miles a year. The ride and road noise with the Michelin MS/2s is thew best I've ever had but the best part of it is that the last set that I just replaced went 102000 miles. I get my oil changed every 5,000 miles and the store I bought my tires from offers free rotate and balancing every 5,000 miles so for once I religiously rotated and balanced my tires every 5K miles and it really paid off. So they may seem like they cost a little more but if you take care of them they are just as inexpensive as other tires with a much smoother and safer ride.

Over the years I have had ...

Over the years I have had many sets of Michelins on our different vehicles. From the Latitude series on a minivan to the Cross Terrian and now the new MS2's are on a Jeep GC, Pacifica and a F-150. 3 of our 4 vehicles all have Michelin tires. We're only waiting for the 4th set of OE tires to wear out to replace them with a new set of Michelins. With the exception of one set falling a little short of the mileage (teenage driver) every set has exceeded all the mileage expectancy's. They are the quietest tire on the road. Not only is that great, but we live in Colorado and spend a significant amount of time in the mountains. The traction abilities of the MS2's is outstanding on dry surfaces and fantastic in the rain and snow (shallow or deep) conditions of mountain driving. Where my OE tires would lock up and skid on a hard brake situation, the MS2's are still gripping. From my experience, I would guess to say at least 10 ft. shorter stopping distance. Even though the performance is outstanding, the ride quality is outstanding as well and not compromised at all. Would I put another set on our cars? There would never be another brand of tire on my cars or trucks in the future. Period.

Excellent Tire

I am a 40 year old ASE master certified mechanic. I am certified in automotive, truck, and heavy truck. When someone ask me what type of tire I tell them Michelin is a pricey tire but it is also in my opinion the best tire on the market. I had the Michelin LTX/MS on my Dodge Ram Charger and now I have the Michelin LTX/MS2 on my F-250. Both of these tires are the best tire I have ever driven on with a truck. I get at least 70,000 miles out of the tires and the road noise and comfort level when driving is excellent. But the one thing I do do is I rotate my tires evry 3,000 miles instead of every 6,000 miles. I just find they wear much better this way especially since I tow a lot.

LTX M/S2 Great Truck tires

my truck had well worn Michelin tires on it. It was time to find 4 NEW PAWS (Tires). I looked over the selection and went with the LTX M/S2. We live out in the country and NEED tires that can perform in rain, mud, snow & highway driving. These tires are great, you get the feeling that the truck is sticking to the road regardless of what conditions you are driving in. I HIGHLY Suggest these tires if you want dependability.

Excellent Tires

This is the third set of Michelin LTX M/S2 tires that I have purchased. I have two suburbans and these tires are excellent performers in all kinds of weather. I have never gotten stuck using these tires and I end up pulling others out of the snow. They provide a quiet and smooth ride on the interstate and they do a nice job of gripping the pavement. I would definitely recommend these tires.

Top Quality and Workmanship

I replaced OEM tires w/Michelin LTX M/S2 on my Silverado 2500HD. I was pleasantly surprised with all around season performance ,comfort and handling. On my trip to visit my son who is in the Navy stationed in Norfolk , VA I average with my diesel truck about 24+ mpg. Thank you Michelin.

Always Michelin/ No substitute

I and my company have used various Michelin types and sizes of tires since the early 1960's. In all those years I have had one tire failure and it was replaced without question. I am presently using the XC TX4 265/65/R17 110-S. I have traveled 78,000 miles on these tires and believe I still have another 5-10,000 remaining. Getting ready to take an extensive trip and have just ordered new replacements. They are now TX4 M/S2. I usually average between 70-90,000 on every set of Michelins I have owned. One thing I never have to worry about in my travels are my tires. It's always Michelin for my family.

ltx ms 2 275 55 r20 on a 2012 chev tahoe

i was looking for an all terrain tire. i was torn between the an a/t tire and the ltx ms2. i had used the the other tire before and switched to these tires. these tires are quiet, super quiet. the hold the road well in the driving rain, (i had to do an emergency evasive move to avoid a car that crashed into the center median) the tires hold the road on dry pavement incredibly. i have not experienced heavy snow but i have driven in light snow and ice and they perform very well. I like these tires so much, I have bought THREE sets for my 2010 tahoe, 2012 tahoe and 2013 Suburban this year. You can buy these tires and never look back. i have used them in light off roading and they work fine. i have not had any negative issues yet, i will amend this when i do or have experience in heavy snow. i have driven a combined 8000 miles on the tires.

I will always buy Michelin tires

I have just purchased my second set of Michelin tires for my 1995 GMC Sierra 1500. I got 103,000 miles and 4 years on my first set. Keep your pressure checked and I recommend you rotated them every 3,000 miles as I did and you might get the same mileage as I did. After seeing the life I got out of my first set I will always spend the extra money and never buy cheap tires again. I could go on and on bragging about them but the proof is in the pudding!

80000+ miles

Always been a fan of Michelin tires and my past set has kept my faith. I do a lot of driving, highway and county roads. This last set of LTX M/S got me 84000 miles. Only reason I needed to replace is I had a bearing go bad and the passenger side wore on the outside too far before I caught it. Still probably had another 10000-15000 miles in them except for that. Great tires. Continue to be a fan. Hope the LTX M/S2s are just as reliable.
