LTX M/S2 by far the best

The Michelin LTX M/S2 is the best tire I have ever put on my expedition. I drive in all different kinds of terrain and I always get great traction. I have a house up north that on a old logging trail that is pretty rough. And I have never gotten stuck yet. I go thru fairly deep mud and up one really steep hill and these tires get me thru all of that with no problem. I even went up a very sandy steep hill without my four wheel drive on and it did it with no problem. Also these tires are amazing in the snow. They wear great too. I got 75000 out of my last set, with proper maintenance of course. I would strongly recommend these to anyone.

Great Tires

The tires on my 2008 Chevy Silverado were low on tread and I had a long trip planned. Arizona to Florida and back. So I started checking on new tires. I honed in on two or three brands, Michelin included. After all the dust settled, Michelin was by far the best value. So far they have been terrific. I go off road occasionally and they have performed well. Much quieter ride than the originals. I'm sold on Michelin.

Replacement set for defective ones

I have used the LTX-MS2 tires for quite a few years and this is the second time that I have had to have a new set replaced due to balance issue. This time, they tried 1 tire, but did not help and Force Balance did not help and 2 different shops produced radical different results from OK to UNABLE TO BALANCE. The latter was more correct, since they advised I had a mechanical defective on my warranty truck, the dealer pointed out that the Force showed unable to balance. After some doing, they finally replaced the entire set and we were able to get a ride that was not like driving down a gravel road. I had this same problem on another truck years ago, same tire, same problem, same fix... replace the tires till you get a good set. They are good tires when you get a good set and have great mileage life which is why I use them, but when they are bad, they are really bad. Warranty is the key, if they did not replace we would have serious issues, but it is time consuming.

LTX MS2 on my duramax

I put LTX MS2 tires on my 2010 Chevy crew cab duramax 2x4 and the ride improved dramatically. The road noise was reduced to almost stealth mode, my truck was ten times smoother, the look of them is great and the performance is outstanding! Wet surfaces don't phase these tires even with all the power my truck has. I now have 12,000 miles on them and they still look fairly new and perform like they did since day one! I will by these tires again!

50,000 miles and going strong !!

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram with 268,000 miles. I have used only Michelin tires since new (including as delivered). I have never had to have any of them balanced after initial mounting and project that my current set will last 85,000 - 90,000 miles. I use this truck every day and occasionally tow a 10,000 trailer. I always buy Michelin tires for all of my vehicles!

What a tire!

It's not often that the tires coming on your new vehicle amount to much but these are the best tires I have ever had. Having said that I consider myself fortunate to get these as standard equipment. After 95,000 trouble free miles I put a new set on my 2009 Tribute and have not been disappointed even one minute or one time. Rain, snow, mud, highway, urban, good road or bad, these tires flat out perform incredibly. People borrowing my car have made comments about how smooth the ride is, how well they handle, and how quiet these tires are. I just lean back and smile while saying, "I know". You may be able to find a cheaper tire but you can't buy the performance, safety, and confidence these tires provide. If the car lasts another 100,000 miles then I'm sure I'll be back for another set.

Best Investment in Tires!

I purchased these tires for my Ford Escape 4WD for one reason - the warranty: 75,000 miles! I've put 30,000 miles on since I bought the tires, and once I wash off the dirt, the tread looks as good as the day I bought them. Great all-weather performance. Impressive! And this is why I keep coming back to Michelin!

The overall performance ...

The overall performance and longevity of the tires is outstanding. Over the years I have tried other major manufacturer's so called equivalents, but I always go back to Michelin. They just plain, ride and steer better plus they last for typically twice the mileage, and only cost a few dollars more.

"The best money ever spent"

My new pickup was built with another brand tire so I decided to change them out to Michelin. After taking delivery of vehicle I reviewed the Michelin tire selections on their internet site. The LTX M/S2 matched my requirements for wear, mileage and performance. These tires are so quiet rolling down the road and they look sharp. Michelin tires are the best money ever spent.

great tires for towing

I have the LTX MS2 truck tires on my Yukon. I tow a camper and find that these tires both wear well and grip the road well. They make the truck feel very stable when towing. I have had this set on my truck for almost 3 1/2 years putting about 30k miles on them. I had a coworker remark last week (when I told them how long I had them on the truck) he thought I had just put them on because they still look new. When this set wears out I will no doubt replace them with a like set. I also have a set on my Buick Rendezvous. They have been on that vehicle for almost 5 years. I will soon replace them with another set of Michelins. I am definitely a Michelin or nothing car owner.
