I put the LTX M/S2 on my ...

I put the LTX M/S2 on my ford f150. That was the best thing I could have done. The tire did more than what i was expecting and the ride was unbelievable. I highly recommend this tire to anyone that is looking a good set of tires. I dont have anything negative to say about the Michelin Tire. My mother and father are putting tires on both of their vehicles. If and when I wear them out I will be going back to the same tire.

Great all around tire

I used to buy just any old tires for my trucks then my tire dealer talked me into trying the LTX. That was it, the ride, handleing, grip on and off road and not forgetting how long they lasted was impressive. I just bought a new set for my ford F250 , the last set ran for nine years. If thats not a selling point I don't know what would would be.

Great Tires!!!

I have been a Michelin guy since I have lived in the Dakotas. These tires are the stickiest on ice. So when I moved to California I never look at any other brand. They are quiet, sticky ,give you a comfortable ride and can't wear them out! I have the LTX M/S2 for my Lexus RX 300 and Pilot Super Sport for my C55 AMG and Cayman. These tires are just the best for your buck!

Best highway tire on planet!

Had to rate this tire, because a few folks were not happy with tread wear. I have 22,000 miles on these tires in a 4x4 Silverado Crew Cab ( not your lightest vehicle). I have 9/32 - 10/32 left on this tire. They were new at 12/32 so at this rate of wear I should be able to get 70,000+ like most folks get out of this tire. They are also very quiet, and handle beautifully. I live in the mountains and they are great in the snow or rain. Prior to purchasing I studied up on tires and I believe that this was the highest rated tire ever built by any manufacture and now I can see why. Those that have rated the wear as not satisfactory might want to get their truck in for an alignment. I have been very please with this tire in every aspect.

One Smooth Ride!

I decided to keep my '04 truck. It needed new tires. So, I asked my tire dealer to install the most appropriate tire for my style of driving - freeway, off road, city, rough bumpy roads and mountains. AND, I wanted a smooth ride for a change. Without hesitation, he recommended the Michelin LTX M/S2. As soon as I drove away from the tire dealer, I could feel an immediate difference. The ride was incredibly smooth and the what a difference in the handling of my truck!

The BEST

This is my 3rd set on our family vehicles soon to be a 4th. I previously ran the LTX M/S the were the best light truck tire on the market. Now Michelin has stepped their game up with a softer riding longer lasting tire. I would say they have out done themselves but that is what you come to expect from Michelin. The BEST! Thanks

harsh ride

I have used these tires (the original not the MS2) on 2 s10 pickups, 2 s10 blazers, 2 Mitsubishi Monteros and currently have them on my 05 Tahoe---all these were great!! BUT the new MS2 has a very harsh ride due to being XL rated. Also the MS2 does not have secondary sipes on the lower tread supports which give extra wet traction when the tread wears down thus giving longer tire life. The driving performance is still excellent but harsh and back jarring whether at 35psi or 40pse. When the pressure is lowered so is your gas mileage. I always ran the old MS at 40psi with no complaints.

Fantastic preformance

Having towed the same heavy trailer for 480K miles, these are the best preformance tires for mileage, road/ride issues, and traction. Higher speed interstate driving, with sometimes more weight that is advised... This is the only tire manufacture that hangs together until the tread is gone. Oh, not quite correct, the OEM tires had no issues, but only lasted less than 30K miles. Negatives... These may cost more up front by a $10 ro $20 bill but when they last twice as long cost per mile is far less that what ever comes close. I've gone through other mfg's and one I had 14 tires replaced under road hazard, #14 did $3000 body damage to the box of the truck. They all went, replaced with LTX MS and never looked back. The big chain that was road hazarding the lesser brand asked me if I ever had Michelin, and if I had issues them. Yes I had them and never had a problem with them for roughly 70K miles. The guys comment was Michelin has very few ride issues and only build "best" tires, not good, better, and best. These LTX MS2 are not like the factory original "A/" series tires that folks around here do not like due to lack of traction. What I want for my winter selection is studable winter tires. When Michelin comes out with those I have a set of 4. When will they be out??

Michelin , A name you can trust!!

After reading and searching reviews on several brands of tires over several months, I decided on the Michelin LTX M/S2. I remember my very first vehicle had Michelins on it, and the quality and reliability hasn't changed. It was higher priced, but I don't regret making the decision. My wife's minivan is on the second set of Michelins already , and if she is happy , I'm happy !!

Great Tire!

I drive a 2001 Ford Excursion which, I am told, is the LARGEST mass produced civilian vehicle ever made available on the open market. I purchased a complete set of four new LTX M/S2 tires and IMMEDIATELY noticed a significant difference in my vehicle's handling - especially on wet surfaces. My wife and I have four children, and we have never felt safer traveling in my truck.
