Great Tires

These are the best tires I've ever owned! Having been buying tires for 39 years, these are by far the smoothest, comfortable, and best wearing tire. They may cost a bit more than their competitors, but it's well worth the small extra cost. As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for!

best set of tires money can buy

i have a 2000 suburban and needed a set of tires and asked a friend about the m/s 2's and gave me a high recomendation and was able to get them for a very good price. after having them on the truck now a good 6 months they are the best tires i have ever invested in, looking at them they dont look like much but i have backed up my driveway on a sheet of ice and they did not spin or slip..even drove up a friends driveway on a sheet of ice to show him how well the tires perform and was in toatl shock since we both have never seen tires do that even with trucks that have all-terrain tires on. these tires are everything advertised from snow and ice to heavy rain these tires make you feel that contact to the road especially for puddles that under normal circumstances that would cause hydro-plain. the cost of the tires is a bit pricey but you have to remember the old saying"you get what you pay for" and keep in mind its an investment and as long as you keep your tire pressures right and keep em rotated they WILL last. the cost of the tires, manufacturers warranty and the road hazzard warranty bought through place of purchase to me was excellent value and i am a michelin customer now as long as they keep making the product as good as it is or better...i will buy another set when the time comes, these tires make my truck ride so smooth i noticed an immediate difference in ride comfort as soon as i drove off from buying them, truck almost rides like a cadillac lol...thanks michelin!!

My Michelin tires rock!

I'm a commuter in a 6cyl Dodge Dakota, these tires make the truck look sweet as the size are large for this small truck. The tires make for a smooth and quiet commute. When I bought this truck a year ago from a small dealer, the tires were what sold my dad and I to get the truck! My family and I have been Michelin people for as long as I've been around :). One of my cousins baby pictures he was in a Michelin tire! Haha! Thanks Michelin!

126,000 Miles and counting....

Everyone knows the spiel when you buy tires. The dealers show you everything, but seems like you have to ask for Michelins because they are more expensive. Time and time again I have proven the value received from Michelin far outweighs the extra cost. Case in point, my current set of michelins on my 2002 Ford Explorer just passed 126,000 miles. I purchased them new in April 2008, rotate / balance them religiously, and at 126,000 miles they still have 3/32 of tread left. Michelin delivers again. I have never gotten any less than 100,000 miles on a set of Michelin tires, and do have to say, this set has truely surpassed even my high expectations. Thank you for making such a great product!

These change the ride completely!

I put on my original set of LTX M/S a few years back. Loved them as they changed the ride of my Sport Trac - so when I needed tires again, particularly since I'm taking a ride down to Florida - I figured stay with what works. These are the LTX M/S2 (they don't make the originals any longer). Looking forward to a smooth 8 hour drive in another week !

Quality tire; GREAT ride!

So happy with these tires! They provide a solid, stable smooth ride as well as excellent water traction. Quality abounds! They hardy show wear at all....still look new with tons of tread, despite lots of interstate miles driven. AMERICAN made, so I ride with American Pride!

As Good AS Advertised

A Little over a year ago, I purchased a used Ford Expedition and it was in need of a new set of tires. I have learned over the years that going for the cheapest brnad is not the best way to go, because you usually suffer from poorer performance and less durability. I bought the LTX/MS2 Michelin tires and have been very pleased with the performance. I live in Colorado so I get to see a lot of snow and rain, and it has proven to provide superior traction in all elements. I would definitely buy these tires again and would recomend them to anyone.

The overall performance ...

The overall performance and longevity of the tires is outstanding. Over the years I have tried other major manufacturer's so called equivalents, but I always go back to Michelin. They just plain, ride and steer better plus they last for typically twice the mileage, and only cost a few dollars more.

80000+ miles

Always been a fan of Michelin tires and my past set has kept my faith. I do a lot of driving, highway and county roads. This last set of LTX M/S got me 84000 miles. Only reason I needed to replace is I had a bearing go bad and the passenger side wore on the outside too far before I caught it. Still probably had another 10000-15000 miles in them except for that. Great tires. Continue to be a fan. Hope the LTX M/S2s are just as reliable.

Prefer LT vs P for my Traverse

My 2009 Traverse always felt heavy turning, stopping and overall control on the road. I was happy to know I had a choice on the MS2. The LT version vs the P (passenger) version has eliminated this problem. I now have excellent wet road turning, stopping and more responsive lane changes and control on the road. I made the right choice selecting LT over the P factory recommended tires!
