Had an episode this past Friday, June 22, 2012 driving 20 miles per hour and 5 miles an hour thru a neighborhood and over a sidewalk at 5 miles per hour and I believe the sidewalk ripped and tore a 3 inch gash into the inside of the left rear tire. The Michellin tire I was lead to believe has the strongest sidewall impact re-inforced construction. If it does then why did this tear so easily on the inner tire. Very shocked and surrised. Hopefully they honor an immediate full warranty since the tires are only a year old. Also, having a lot of dry rot with these tires MS2 LTX MS@ 265 7017 DOT 3409

Best tire buying decision I have made since I ran Michelins on my motorcycles in the 80's. I purchased the LTX M/S2 tires for my 1500 Dodge Ram and immediately could tell the difference. Tires ride better and feel more stable and the wet performance is excellent. I highly recommend these tires for anyone with a lite truck. I have rated the tires as N/A in some categories because I have not had them long enough to make a determination on these points.

Tires are on a 2013 XLT F150 with heavy tow package. I pull an Ultralight 30' Travel Trailer, 24' Cuddy Cabin Sea Ray Boat, and Car Trailer with my Hot Rods. I put a new set of these tires on my '05 Suburban last year, June 2012, in size 245/75/R16. They are wonderful! Great snow traction, great off-road traction, comfort and especially fuel economy. Our Surburban is a C1500 half ton, two wheel drive, 5.3 Vortec, and I can honestly print that it regularly achieves OVER 24 mpg driving 65 mph on I-15 between Springville and Centerville, passengers on board, A/C on. The fuel economy improved drastically with these tires. True story. If I set the cruise at 60mph, it will always achieve over 25 mpg on that same drive. 27.5 mpg best to date. All original suburban with 130,000 miles - no aftermarket upgrades.

The used 2003 Ranger that we purchased was rather unstable on the road. While obviously needing shocks/struts, we suspected that the existing and not badly worn tires were at least part of the problem. By putting the Michelin LTX tires on our little truck, the ride was very significantly stabilized, and the tires ran a lot quieter. We have seen this behavior on both our E150 van and our Escape, so this was more expected than a surprise - though always welcomed.

I have used these tires (the original not the MS2) on 2 s10 pickups, 2 s10 blazers, 2 Mitsubishi Monteros and currently have them on my 05 Tahoe---all these were great!! BUT the new MS2 has a very harsh ride due to being XL rated. Also the MS2 does not have secondary sipes on the lower tread supports which give extra wet traction when the tread wears down thus giving longer tire life. The driving performance is still excellent but harsh and back jarring whether at 35psi or 40pse. When the pressure is lowered so is your gas mileage. I always ran the old MS at 40psi with no complaints.

I absolutely love Michelin tires. I have owned my SUV for 10+ years and have run nothing but Michelin's on them. They give you the best and smoothest ride and the best wear. I drive about 120 miles a day in all kinds of weather (i.e. rain, snow, ice) and I absolutely love them. I never look at other tires when it comes time to buy new ones. I just know exactly what I want - Michelin. They are awesome. I am probably your most loyal customer and I am always recommending Michelin's to my friends.

All tires are pretty good and handling wet road conditions the first year but the LTX M/S (2) stay that way year after year. They are great in snow and evey handle off road conditions very well. On top of that they offer a comfortable and quiet ride down the road. They are the best out there.

When I first purchased my Explorer it came with a well known tire brand. Then there was a major recall and Ford was replacing all tires free of charge. That was when I first had Michelin tires. I couldn't belive the difference of handling. When those ran down I replaced them with a different brand. Don't know why I did. This time I decided to go back to Michelin and I am so happy I did. These LTX M/S 2 tires are really so much better than the tires from before. I will never stray from Michelin again. My car is 13 years old and with only a tire change it drives like new.

I would have never thought I would notice a difference new tires could have on driving comfort and handling. A friend suggested I try these tires a few years ago and I was shocked what a difference they were. After they wore out I chose to go with a less expensive brand due to the age of the vehicle. What a dissappointing difference. I recently replaced the vehicle and quickly put these new Michelins on the vehicle and immedialtly noticed the difference.
