Value, Performance and Safety

Purchased these tire for my daughter. At the time she was a student and doing a lot of traveling on the NYS Thruway. I wanted a safe and dependable tire that was good in snowy conditions. Did my homework to insure I was making the righ decision. The tire has been performing excellent. Great breaking in dry, wet and snowy conditions. To date wear has been minimal. On occasion have traveled through deep snow and was very happy with tire traction. Very important in the North East. I would highly recommend this tire. I have a 2009 Envoy and I would have bought a pair for it, but unfortunately they don't manufacture my size.

Michelin Builds Confedance

My wife was scared to death to drive in the winter. After insatalling the tires and she found the car went in the snow, and did not slide all over the road, she now has no problem driving to work in rain or snow. I have a car I got last year and doesnot have Michelin tires. I had to park it and drive her car last winter. Thanks for keeping my insurance rates down on my wifes car. hahahaha....

Great Tire So Far

Switched to this tire for a '03 Yukon Denalli XL; had 2 sets of another passenger-style tire and the OEM tire for the first 110,000 miles. Have less than 2,000 miles experience so far. Ride is not quite as comfortable, but is not that bad considering that it IS a truck, and I am carrying 38 lbs. in them which is 4 more than the old tires. I think that passenger tires are OK for this vehicle if it is used only for a grocery/6 kid hauler, but not for towing, heavy hauling, or off-pavement driving. Road noise is quiet, even with the deeper tread. The side sway is noticeably less than with passenger tires. Traction in light rain is a non-issue; it's like dry pavement. Have to wait to find out about heavy rain, snow or ice, but the ratings say that this tire ranks at the top. These tires don't squeel at extra low speeds and tight turns in parking lots, either (quite embarrasing with old tires as everyone looks to see who is "racing" thru the parking lot). Trailer towing is much more stable. So far, I am well pleased, even though I had to pay 1/3 more for them than the previous make passenger-style tires. Wish I had done it the last time I bought tires.

Great ride for my Ford ...

Great ride for my Ford F-150! I had a lot of issues with my O/E tires which seems to have been corrected by replacing with Michelin. I have been parchasing Michelin tires ever since replacing my O/E tires on a '76 Country Squire ( Ford ) station wagon. This heavy tank drove like it was attached to the road with bungee cords-lots of sway and rocking. A tech advised me to get a set of Michelins because they were constructed with extra side-wall stability. I could not believe the difference in the ride and stability your tires made! Ever since this experience I have always replaced my tires with Michelin and have NEVER been disappointed. You get what you pay for, and Michelin has always delivered for me based on safety, mileage, handling, and comfort. There must be a reason so many auto manufacturers select your tires as O/E for their mid to upper level lines. I can honestly say I have NEVER had an issue with one of your tires in my 30+ years of usage. I am 66 years old, have a degree in chemistry and was born with greese under my nails as my late father was a farmer and a mechanic. I know what I'm talking about!!!

LTX MS2 - 2nd Set -- '04 Expedition...

LTX MS2 P265 70 R17 (09607) -- Purchased June 2011 for '04 Expedition. Replaced after 79K mi service. Best tires I've ever owned. Light truck/SUV owner since '79. 2nd set LTX MS2 LT265 70 R17 E (97723) purchased April 2015. Superb handling on 75mph AZ freeways. Deeper tread than P-series, same quiet ride. Over spec'd load index 121. At 52 psi, Expedition now rides "like a truck." Much stronger heavier tire. Increased rolling resistance, reduced fuel mileage...exactly what I wanted. Heavy instrument amplifier hauling in 100+ deg temps.Expecting 80,000+ mi (at least 4 years) of safe, reliable service.

06 LX470

Lexus recommended the HP which only provides a 50k warrantee. Michelin only offered the HP in my size tire. So, I went from a 275/60/18 to a 275/65/18 and brought the LTX M/S2 and boy was that a great decision, thus far!. They are very quiet and smooth. I don't need a High Performance tire and I wanted a long touring tire that I would not have to worry about! This tire offers a great warrantee and superior quietness! I wrote this for people who have my car to tell them don't worry because it's a half inch taller and will not stop as short as the HP. However, the cost is better and I don't drive 185mph to worrying about stopping a few extra feet. I disclaim any responsibility for your decision to use my wisdom.

Best Investment in Tires!

I purchased these tires for my Ford Escape 4WD for one reason - the warranty: 75,000 miles! I've put 30,000 miles on since I bought the tires, and once I wash off the dirt, the tread looks as good as the day I bought them. Great all-weather performance. Impressive! And this is why I keep coming back to Michelin!

great tire recommended for SUV

I use these tires on my Chevy Tahoe 4x4. I've had them well over a year and 15000 miles. They have held up through rigid Wisconsin winters, rain, mud and sunshine. I've never lost traction and I don't notice much road noise which was a setback I read on a review prior to me buying these. I have rotated them every other oil change and the traction is hardly worn. Once it's time to put another set of tires on it will be the same brand.

LOVE MY MICHELIN LTX M/S

I put a set of Michelin LTX M/S Tires on our family van thinking they would be like any other tire. I was so wrong these tires are the best gripping tire for snow and rain. I have never been so happy to drive my swagger wagen around town and on long trips. Michelin LTX M/S have the smoothes and most comfortable ride of any tire I have ever......and I mean EVER bought. I am a sold customer on quality and these tires appeal me in both ride and security on the road. Michelin is quality and I Love my Michelins!!! Scott Newland

From the moment I was ...

From the moment I was rolling on them out of the lot it felt like I was riding on a cloud. It was really amazing what a set of Michelins can do for your ride. My truck came with other tires...18,000 miles done! Friend rec. another brand...same thing 20,000 and out. skins left really. Do yourself a favor, don't experiment with your hard earned money, just put on Michelins and have peace of mind.
