I brought a box of honey mangos from Sam’s club. My wife was super excited she cut it as soon as we get home. It was so disappointing. Not sweet at all rather very sour. I wish I could return. Not recommended!!

Best mangoes you can buy in the US. Don't get anything other than golden. These mangoes are sweet like honey. I'm going to be so sad when the season ends.

I purchased a pack of 10–12 mangoes last week from Sam's Club in Gainesville, FL. Although they looked fresh and healthy on the outside, every single one of them turned out to be rotten inside. Extremely disappointing experience.

All these negative reviews about being sour is because people don’t know how to ripen these beauties. Put them in a paper bag for a few days then on the counter to ripen. When they are deep orange and wrinkled they are perfect! You can cut them a day or so earlier to have a little tartness to them.

These mangos were the best I've eaten since being in Jamaica to visit family. Allow the mangoes to ripen 10 - 14 days (the longer, the better). When FULLY ripened, their external appearance will resemble a very deep golden color with splatters of deepened red. You'll be able to easily press your fingers into each mango. Inside, when FULLY ripened, each mango will look like one consistent color like the deepest of sunsets. The outside, smooth, but slight rubbery like texture, looks a little WRINKLED. If you're able to depress your fingers into it's solidness, it's ready & juicy. I promise you, these are fabulous!!!!! I wish I made a video before finishing them all.

First of all you are getting a LOT of mangos. Our box was mostly ripe and ready to eat. So we got to it. Our first few days of mangos were sweet and sticky deliciousness. Absolutely fantastic. But by day 3 we were finding less sweet and more sour. By day 5 we had to cut them open and take test tastes to make sure they were not super sour… we threw out 4 of the big box. For the price it’s not a huge loss. We really enjoyed the ones that were sweet!

I've had honey mangos before, so I know what they're supposed to be like. These were perfect-looking on the outside but rotting on the inside. Likely due to improper storage or they got too hot when being processed for export. Seriously gross. Will take back tomorrow.

Looked promising when I bought it. It came in a big box. It wasn't ripe yet when I bought it, so I had to wait for a little bit. 1 week later, I opened one. Still not ripe. 2 days after, I opened another. Still not ripe but the inside was awful. Another 2 days after I opened another. It was kinda ripe but the inside looked awful. Another 2 days, it was ripe already, but the inside was spotted black.

I waited until they changed to yellow and looked wrinkly - clearly the ripest they would have gotten. Still incredibly sour to the point of inedible. I made a few smoothies and was debating if I should throw away the entire box. Peeling and cutting sour mangos which I wasn't sure would be eaten... not my cup of tea. But then I remembered mango salsa and made a huge bowl of salsa with the sour mangos. Not what I originally got them for, but oh well.

These are the best mangoes ever - super sweet, tender, succulent, nothing short of just awesome. Seriously, if you see em, grab em (swap out some of the green ones for more ripe ones in the boxes.) Great price for the box too, I got about 18 mangoes for $6.98. Best deal I've seen.
