I just finished eating a piece and it is very delicious! I would suggest Sam's club to ensure freshness of the berries as dry berries take away from the aestethics and over-all experience. Something that I am sure Sam's can easily modify. Please keep this cake as a regular product at the stores!!

When it is fresh this is an awesome cake, especially the Chantilly cream. However, it's only fresh 8 out of 10 times I have found. Usually, you can tell by the date it is packaged but often they will freeze the cake after it is assembled and those cakes are way too dry. I should say refreeze because the cake itself comes frozen and that is why you should never refreeze these but occasionally they do and it is a waste of $18. The one I bought today was sadly one of the really dry ones :( I am not sure it is worth and $18 risk but if there is a way for you to know they aren't putting out a refrozen one and putting today's date on it than it is.
