This is NOT a Chantilly cake. The cake is not bad just lacks flavor.So I made a simple syrup with vanilla and almond flavor.I drizzle the simple syrup over each slice.The strawberries were not sweet but the other fruit was good.Save your money and make a white box cake and whip cream.

This cake was light, moist, and, HOPEFULLY Sam's will keep this around all year/all the time!! It was PERFECT, not too sweet! My store in Edison, N.J., puts something on top of the fruit I think so that it won't grow mold, and, it stays fresh. My cake lasted a good week in the refrigerator with no mold, etc. I highly recommend this cake if you don't want something that's overly sweet, and, you like fruit. THANK YOU EDISON, N.J. BAKERS!!
