So far so good, serves our purpose

The gun safe I ordered for my husband was delivered today. It arrived damaged with dents in the top and side of it. Also the key will not work to open the door. I am calling customer service and hope they will make this right.

I VERY HAPPY WITH MY SAFE. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS THE SHIPPER TOOK AN EXTRA 5 DAYS FOR DELIVERY. BUT THE PRODUCT IS GREAT AND I SHOPPED AROUND AND IT WAS THE BEST DEAL ANYWHERE.

Good safe when compared to key-lock metal cabinets. Overall it appears to be well constructed, but the shelves could not be installed level without shimming the center divider up 1/4#. Not sure if the shelf tracks were not installed properly, or if this board was cut short. Fairly easy fix. Safe did arrive with a noticeable dent, though you could not see it until removing the box (damage was not evident on box). Not a manufacturer issue, as it appears the shipper dropped it.

The actual safe is a fair value for the money. The shipper ( Pilot) was excellent and the driver was great. The outside appearance of the box was unscathed, and in good condition. HOWEVER, once the cardboard was cut away, there was/is a significant dent in the upper right hand corner. paint broken off, sharp edge, etc. This is evidence of damage at factory in handling! As I said, the cardboard and mini bubblewrap surrounding the unit was unmarked with zero evidence of any impact, thus the damage HAD to have occurred at the factory, prior to packaging for shipment! One can surmise the lack of concern for the customer. Since there was no outside physical damage to the box, no thought to documenting the opening to provide evidence of this malfeasance. A WORD OF WARNING= If you purchase this unit, AND box appears good, then you should STILL document and photograph all phases of the opening in the event this happens to you, to provide proof for a claim! BUYER BEWARE! The unit is still functional, and will have to be used, but I didn't pay for a dented unit. I paid for a new and unblemished unit, and sadly, did not get that. I can only wish that it holds up as intended.

this safe was on extreme sale and was bought to finally get all my guns in a safe, fire proof, location. came undamaged and was in great condition. love the electronic key pad and ease of programming and use. nice quality and has tons of space for a small, fire rated safe. great warranty as well and will probably buy another Sports Afield safe when my collection out grows this one. highly recommended.

I was so stoked to get this good deal and free shipping on this safe. It's the perfect size to fit in my closet and protect my firearms. Delivery was scheduled but delivery was way late, the driver did call. Delivery guys put it close to where it needed to be which I was so grateful. Upon inspection snd opening the box I find a dent in the top and scuffs and scrapes on the side. The nice piece of foam that covered the front should have been all the way around. Can you get touch up paint for these? Overall seems like a decent safe.

I would have given 5 stars, because it really is an amazing safe. Problem is that two of the three zippers on the pouches don't work so the pouches cannot be zipped closed. It is however a really minor flaw in an otherwise super cabinet. I certainly wouldn't ask to exchange it over that, although it would be nice if they worked, if they could be replaced or repaired. I will give a five star rating to the delivery crew. I was given a delivery time between noon and 4 pm. I had neighbors standing by to help me get it into the house, once delivered. They didn't show up until 4:15 and I had already told my neighbors to forget it. I explained the problem with the delivery crew and they said as long as I had a clear path through the house to where I wanted it, they would bring it in for me. They brought it in for me and positioned it in the room in such a manner that I could remove all the packaging myself and jocky it into position.

The safe arrived damaged. It showed up with dents and creases on three sides and on two corners. In addition the long gun holder was broken on the top left side. The back side of the star shaped long gun holder was severed and dangling. The door worked well and if not damaged it seem that it would have been a good little safe.
