The first two apples my husband ate were brown all around on the inside of the peel. He stopped eating them and now I’m stuck with 4.5lbs of bad apples…

I purchased my groceries through the app and the apples I was given had a rotten one in it. I just recently bought more and again there was a rotten apple in it.

I enjoy this 5lb bag of Gala Apples. Seldom have any with soft spots. It greatly depends on the time of year you buy whether they are all sweet or some very sour and not ripe yet. But for convenience and price they are quite good.

I was disappointed by the three apples that had soft spots in various areas on the apples. Two other apples had a odd taste to them. Not worth the expense!

The apples were delicious. I cut them into slices and add a drizzle of honey and sugar-free Hershey’s syrup or just some peanut butter. The reason for the 3 stars was because there were a few that was blemished and I had to toss them. But that won’t stop me from buying another bag because I know things can get tossed around and dropped during shipping.

I had stopped buying my Gala's from Sam's quite a while ago. I was finding 20~40% of the apples in the bag were heavily bruised or even starting to rot and molding. Was in need of apples a few weeks back and thought I'd give Sam's another shot. Glad I did. Since that "fateful" day, I have purchased this 3 times and each bag has been all quality - no rot.

Four of the gala apples had large areas of bruising. I use the curb side pick up. With my weak immune system, I did not want to go into the store to return the bag of apples. This has only happened once before. I wish you had another way to return items. Also, please answer your phones.

These are top notch. Not like what you find in the grocery stores this time of year. We like to store them unrefrigerated on the counter. They last at least a week. They taste delicious like the apples we would get from the local orchard down the street

I used the online service for store pickup. So I personally did not pick these. My apples were not to my standards. Several were very yellow and not ready to be eaten. Also there were rotten apples in the bag so that really helped out overall as well. As I said I did not pick these , it was picked by the personal shopper in my local store.

Every time I have bought these Gala apples they are soft, bland, not sweet, and have plenty of brown spots. The past few times I have bought them only because the other apples were out of stock. I will not buy them again because they always end up in the trash. Money wasted. I do not recommend.
