The trick is to cook these on a hot cast iron pan or griddle to get a good sear otherwise they will be dry. The flavor would kick up to a 5 star with some additional fat.

Tasty. In each package on the bottom set was one tiny burger. Not pleased with that. Misleading thinking all burgers are the same size or at least close to same size

Better tasting all though there was a lot of oil when cooking the burgers were not oily and did not shrink up. I would absolutely buy them again instead of hamburger meat

I smoked these on my pellet grill and they had an amazing flavor. My husband and father said they were fantastic. I highly recommend smoking these and then finishing with a sear.

I'm not always inclined to write reviews unless something is either really good or really bad. These were the worst hamburgers I've ever had. And for the "prime rib" label I was highly disappointed. Got two packs for memorial Day BBQ. Thank God I tested two out the night before. They have zero flavor. Like not even beef flavor. And all they do is smoke on the grill. I thought maybe they were mixed and formed, but oh no no no my package had a tell tale clue. It's was the end bit of the ground beef roll. So literally they just cut the log of ground beef and slap it in a container and call it burgers. Had to add so much seasoning and oil to get any flavor out of them.

I only ate two of these and retuned the rest, Quality was poor. The fist one made me nauseous. THe second one was like chewing suet and leather-nothing like prime rib at all. that time I got violently ill-vomiting and diarrhea. Wouldn't touch another onme with a ten foot pole. Sam's, your customers deserve better!

If your idea of cooking red meat is overcooking to the point it's the equivalent of shoe leather, then go buy the cheapest stuff you can find and you'll never know the difference. If you understand to cook them to a medium, then you're going to enjoy these burgers (hint: if you dont know how, get an instapen thermometer and learn to use it, your meat will appreciate it and your guests will too!). Cheeseburgers on the grill hamburger steaks on the Foreman with mashed potatoes & gravy,, or even just crumbling up and lightly browning to use in a pasta sauce. These work equally well and are usually a decent price/lb when considered.
