I ran across these for the first time a week ago. Cooked up one and can honestly say it's the best burger I ever cooked. I used the cooking method I use to cook restaurant quallity steaks. It worked perfect on this burger. Don't know how they can afford to sell prime rib at this price, but I intend to stock up on them in my deep freeze.

I bought these prime rib burgers and cooked them medium rare on the BBQ. I have never tasted a drier more flavorless burger in my life. This is especially odd since we all know that prime rib has considerably more marbling (fat) than regular beef. So the burgers should have been juicier than regular beef, not drier. So what gives? Was this really ground up prime rib? Prime rib at club prices usually runs at least $12 a pound. How can it be ground up and sold for $5? I have some serious questions.

Overall, burgers were good, however, you you need to season them and add some nice “Fixin’s”, and be sure not to over cook them, because the fat content is too low, so they will quickly dry out. Don’t cook past a good, red, juicy medium. Also don’t cook from frozen either, completely thaw or you will most likely over cook by direct cooking on a gas or charcoal grill. I haven’t tried them on a flat top yet, perhaps you might get better results? On the “flip” side, it’s a hefty burger, not much shrinkage because of the lack of fat content, so it’s a fill your belly burger! And the quality of the meat is excellent, just wish there was more fat!

I purchased a pack of these several months ago when on sale and wow! These were delicious! I have purchased several more. I like to add a little Weber’s dry gourmet burger seasoning and a tsp of Dale’s Seasoning to each patty before wrapping individually in Glad Press N Seal and freezing. The ONLY burger I’ll eat with no bun or condiments because those things might ruin the flavor! The taste is amazing😋

Sam's Club quality is always great, but I was shocked by how awful these burgers were, even cooked by a grill master. We bought 16 of them for a party weekend, and they seemed like they were stacked with filler. It was not worth what we spent on them. No flavor, and I wouldn't buy these again, sadly :( :( Just a heads up!

I'm not always inclined to write reviews unless something is either really good or really bad. These were the worst hamburgers I've ever had. And for the "prime rib" label I was highly disappointed. Got two packs for memorial Day BBQ. Thank God I tested two out the night before. They have zero flavor. Like not even beef flavor. And all they do is smoke on the grill. I thought maybe they were mixed and formed, but oh no no no my package had a tell tale clue. It's was the end bit of the ground beef roll. So literally they just cut the log of ground beef and slap it in a container and call it burgers. Had to add so much seasoning and oil to get any flavor out of them.
