I bought my first car, a Fiat 600, in 1959 equipped with Michelin tires. Since then I have purchased no other replacement tires but Michelin. When purchasing a new car not available with Michelins, I made sure to replace the OE tires with Michelins as soon as possible, always with a noticeable improvement. Over the years and many miles, there have been several incidents/ emergencies where I am convinced that my Michelin tires were a major factor in my survival, and for that I thank you.

First bought these tires for my primary car three years ago. I average about 24K miles a year and these tires ride smooth, handle the road very well, are quiet and have worn better than any other tire I have ever purchased. So impressed that I purchased a set for my son's car early this year. If any of you have a young driver in the house, you want their car to not just be mechanically sound, but also have safe tires. With the Primacy tires, I feel confident the tires add to the reliability of him driving his Civic. I'm planning on replacing my original set later this year with the exact same Michelin Primacy tires. Yes, they are not the lowest cost tires out there but you get what you pay for and I'm not about to short change something as important as the quality of my tires that helps make driving my family safer.

I've always bought Michelin tires when replacing the original tires on my vehicles. In fact, I am replacing the original tires on my auto with Michelin tires because the original tires that came on the vehicle were scalping and causing a very noisy and bumpy ride with only 20,600 miles on them. I've always had extremely good luck with Michelin tires and will continue to purchase as replacement tires.

I was researching tires as a replacement for the noisy and rough-riding ultra-high performance tires on my 2008 Infiniti G35X. I wanted a tire that would preserve the crisp handling the performance tire had along with a smoother quieter ride. In other words, I wanted it all! Well, the Primacy MXM4 comes satisfyingly close! The handling is only a titch less crisp and the ride is much much smoother and quieter! Winter traction has been unbelievably great! But, after 3 years of wear on the Primacy's I'm faced with tires that will be fine for another 2 summers, but not one more winter. I will definitely buy the Primacy MXM4s again and next summer switch back the current ones to finish wearing them out.

This represents the third set of Michelins for my 2007 Volvo XC90. The original tires were Michelin Pilots, which were replaced at 47688 miles with Michelin Latitude Tour HP. The Latitude Tour HP, which were just replaced at 95148 miles ( 47460 since installed) with Michelin Primacy MXM4. I had the Primacy MXM4 on my other Volvo and this is what made my decision to put them on my XC90. As far as I am concerned Michelin makes the best tires available. I have had excellent tread wear on all of these tires and they are all "V" rated. Although I cannot rate the new Primacy MXM4 just installed, I can only anticipate the same outstanding results based on the two prior Michelin tires I have experienced on my vehicle. This tire came standard on my 2011 Lincoln MKS (purchased used with 13,000 miles) and they perform flawlessly until a little snow and then it's like I have a set of slicks. I live in Minnesota and that's not a good thing. Seriously, other cars pull away from me and I just slip. I have to turn off the traction control because it will absolutely not move otherwise. I love Michelin tires. I have had a policy of no other brand but there is something wrong with these. As I look for replacement tires before this winter everything keeps pointing me to these tires. What to do?

This is the first set of Michelin tires I have ever purchased. I am pleasantly surprised at 1) how much they improve the ride, 2) how quiet the ride has become and 3) how much the mileage has improved on longer trips. I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase these tires and am happy to recommend these tires to anyone who wants to improve the comfort of their driving experience.

I just purchased these tires for my Kona EV. They are more quite than the original stock tires, but I noticed a big decrease in the MPe of my car. I would average around 4 and now it is down to 3.5. I am not sure why but it does decrease the mileage per charge. They definitely grip better and are quite.

Although I drive a Civic Si, my driving habits are conservative. These tires corner well, have excellent braking characteristics in wet and dry, are quiet and well-behaved on the interstate, and look great. I've only had these tires on the vehicle for a couple of months, so I cannot comment on their capability in a New Hampshire winter. During the worst of the winter, however, I switch to dedicated snow tires, anyway. I can't think of anything I've disliked about these tires, other than one seems to be losing pressure at the rate of about 2 psi a week. I'll keep a close eye on it although a detailed examination of the tire off the vehicle revealed no obvious leaks or punctures.

Review of Primacy MXM4 after 6 years and 84,000 miles. Best tires I've ever owned. Tires are on a 2003 Infiniti I35. Excellent in all areas: wet, dry, highway, around town, even treadwear on all four, and always quiet. Now worn to 3/32". If you have a newer sedan, and can still find the size you need, buy them.
